I don't know.? I searched hard at first, trying to find an exact answer to that, but now, I'm not worrying about it very much..
I think of myself as mostly male, with a big splash of fimininty, and I sleep okay with that self explanation.
Now I'm not thinking about that so much, but now I'm more into trying things and testing myself, to fine tune the direction I'm going, and want to go, to be happiest..

Mark, I can relate to that. I am experimenting as well. It is fun! You will get there, happiness is within you... just got to find the key!
I found accepting myself as a femme transboy has helped settled the hormone dysphoria I was experiencing (last documented at previous forum). It was a key that unlocked one of the paths to happiness. I no longer desire to be on my original body hormone supply of estrogen. My past experiences have repeatedly shown that estrogen does not agree with my mind and that testosterone, despite the voice and facial/body hair dysphoria, it feels most right in my mind as I have been the most emotionally stable in years. I do miss the soft skin, the light body hair and the feminine shape... but moisturizer, laser hair body removal and a thinner body can help with these things.

Haha, yep, it is a lot of fun isn't it.!
The truth is, I feel kinda sorry for those who won't do a little experimenting, just to see what it feels like.. I mean, just allowing yourself to enjoy what you've always been told was wrong, it can be very liberating and freeing to ones spirit..

I recently figured out how to put it into words! I think. I hope anyway.
I switch between wanting a completely male body and a more androgynous body. I don't know how much of that is from dysphoria fluctuations. I always identify as male, but sometimes, I identify as an androgyne or male and female. However, I am just as much of a guy as any other guy and my personality is the same (or almost the same) no matter what my gender is.

Similar to Edge, I have been switching between desiring a male body, an androgynous body and hello, brain reminded me I once heavily desired a sexless body so there's that too.
The thing that partially terrifies me about having a sexless body is getting used to the fact I will not have any genitals anymore. I have focused on my genitals for a large part of my life that it would be weird if they were suddenly gone... it would most likely be a relief because then I would finally stop obsessing over what traits they have/don't have, no female genitals to be grossed out over and no fretting over whether to pick metoidioplasty or phalloplasty as a medical transition option. It gets tiring fast. It would be easier to have no genitals, I'm not even interested in sex or masturbation anymore, it has become a stale concept to me.
Having a sexless body would mean I would not have to worry about tucking, which is something I would have to concern myself with should I decide to go with phalloplasty.

I have naturally always had a male body, my genitalia had never been a concern though I didn't like the gonad package and had that removed. I had thought of becoming female inasmuch as it is possible, but settled on non binary internal wiring and present androgynously, it seems to meet my needs!

Basically I like my female body, but sometimes I want a more masculine or mixed gendered body.

I consider my self to be a genetic male gender-fluid, who aspires to present androgynously. I still consider myself new to a lot of this, as I've only really started figuring out my identity stuff within the past year, and have only just within the past month come out to one of my best friends. There are many things I've considered, (surgeries, hormones) but I really am just trying to figure my self out for the time being.

I consider myself Intersex while my brain constantly flips back and forth between male and female. I'm sure my brain is wired as such due to being 47XXY. Lately though, the dysphoria has grown considerably and I now desire to get on Estrogen to make changes I feel I need for my body.
I'm using Testosterone currently because the doctor says it will prevent osteoporosis but it's causing more hair to appear on my body and that has my dysphoria growing. I just want to feminize my body with just the right curves and look to pass as a female but remain stealth at work. I think I can get there if I work at it. For now, I am ready to tell the doctor that I don't want to take the T any more and that I'd like to take E. I don't know how he's going to take that or where it will take me but I feel I need it and I just want to be at peace with myself instead of in a constant battle with myself.

Valerie
Provided your Doctor thinks that you are fully informed, relatively stable and know what you want to achieve then they are usually ok. I went on T to address low T then moved to transition levels hrt when I was diagnosed as trans and I thought that I was binary mtf. Then stopped hrt, had a brief period of additional hrt before starting varying low dosage hrt therapy. So far the trip has been over 5 years. It has had many twist and turns. Your Doctor should understand that this is the reality that many of us deal with

It's basically the first time I encountered a doctor that was knowledgeable about all of this and at the same time comforting in telling me that nothing need change and that I was still who I am. I don't know how he'll react to this news but I'm sure he will be able to explain many things to me that will help along with my therapist.
