Just curious about the nationalities around here! I wonder how far we're spread.
I'm from Newfoundland, Canada (a mostly rural island off the east coast), but now live in Quebec (the land of poutine).

I'm born in Australia, my mother and grandmother are from the UK, my mother's father from Chile. My father's side is Australian, most likely descended from the UK. We have relatives in Chile and Canada, we're all over!

New York State and also Florida in the US.
Which is a bit awkward.
I live in NYC and am a performing artist and also an estimator in construction.
And I like to race cars on a nascar oval, or anything with 4 wheels.

Echelon: Wow! Lots of diversity I kept it simple, but I'm simultaneously indigenous/ aboriginal from Newfoundland and a first generation immigrant from Portugal (my father came from there when we was a teenager), so a bit of an odd heritage. I've been to the UK: England and Scotland. Lovely places Trinity: I'm sorry; it must be so tough living down there right now. Your upstairs neighbours won't abandon you, I've been helping organize the anti-Trump demonstrations in Ottawa, and have made plans to go to DC to protest the upcoming anti-LGBTQ+ bill. It's not much, but I'm here On a lighter note, racing? SO COOL. I have always wanted to try that!! A.

I used to race a professional racekart on dirt in Florida, but I have also raced my 2002 z28 camaro on a half mile oval, and on a third mile oval, in the spectator races where anything goes and there are no rules except to stop on red flags and slow down on yellows. Melted all four tires on that car, found out the brakes don't work over a hundred miles an hour cause the rotors are spinning too fast. And the G forces push you straight down in the curves, its wild. It was a blast, try it sometime

I imagine its a bit of an expensive thing to get into, but someday

What is tough at the moment is the outpouring of hate. Its really bad. And they are trying to strip us of our rights, but hopefully that won't happen. It wont happen in NYC, they wont go for that here at all for the most part. I worry, I need to change my gender markers on the liscence, but in Florida I had to pay cash for my hormones, they would not cover it in that state. Legal discrimination. I don't want to get started on it, too toxic, but I sure appreciate the support.

Who races at a hundred miles an hour straight towards a wall with a standard seatbelt on and no roll cage and body reinforcement? I loved it.

On the bucket list for sure.
