I still don’t really understand the difference between both or whether I fit into either of these at all. Not because the post isn’t clear because it’s full of really useful Information but it’s just me having problems u derstanding many things in life lol. So if I’m a AFAB and feel like I’m somewhere between a male and female...much more towards a male but not completely what does this make me? It’s not that I’m like a male one day and a female the next. Just all mixed into one. Oh and attracted to women too.
i wouldn’t say I’m politically motivated, it’s just natural and have been like this since very young.
I see it this way, because labels do nothing for anyone except give them a label they then have to explain and then live up to, one is on the righthand and the other is on the lefthand, so it depends on which way you are standing at the time.
Take the information and think about the stuff that pertains to you, don't try to force your way into a label, and some do only to have it confuse everyone and them.
It doesn't matter what label you want, make one up, it's where most of them come from, sounded cool so others used it too.
NB is the blanket umbrella over them all, it is simply that you aren't a part of the binary in that way, NON-binary is a way to explain it, it isn't an answer, but it takes a lot of confusion out of it.
There are so many versions and labels, I have never seen or heard of a list with definitions, and they tend to meld together if talked about anyways.
So looking at the stuff as explanations could really be any one or two or all of them, there is a lot of overlap as far as that goes, some labels have definite definitions, but the info overlaps.
I have been using NB ever since I heard of it a decade ago and I was talking about it before that, just used whatever label seemed handy and would work at the moment.
To simply say that you are NB takes away a lot of the bs of questions the confused binaries can parrot each other with and then you so that they can seem like they are in the know.
I told one person who persisted with confusion and said it's a fashion model term and that satisfied them for a while, I suppose until they used it somewhere and was told no, but yes, but it's more confusing than that.
