Do you believe there is a god? Do you believe their are spirits and an afterlife? What are your beliefs? Just out of curiosity.
I am an agnostic atheist. I don't believe there is a god, afterlife, or spirits. I havent seen or experienced anything to make me believe these things do exist so I figure they probably don't.

Atheist. Sometimes I like to entertain spiritual ideas, but I don't truly believe in any.
I believe my lover and I's hearts are connected. There's sort of a spiritual component to that belief, I suppose.

Very serious Christian, Pentecostal. Spent some years as a white occultist, and a was a fully trained psychic in a couple very specific areas.
I force it on no one and it is my truth. I it gives me an unusual perspective...

My beliefs have foundations in pretty much any organized religion that exists. Summarized, I believe in the "One". We're all connected, and on the deepest level, we are all the same. That Self we share is the Source. Or so goes my current prevailing theory. I would say the One manifests in all ways, and manifests to each of us as we need, it, and nothing more. Even if our perceptions directly contradict each other, the Truth has been given to you, as you are able to see it for yourself. It transcends words, and your perception can be completely opposite of mine in its effects and such. That opposition, IMHO, does not negate anything, just that we see what we are shown. I call myself "Gnostic", and I'm not used to this making any sense to others who are unfamiliar with that theology. But ask, if you would. I don't judge. How I see the Divine is for me. Your Divine is yours and no less True.

I believe that many beings exist and that one religion is not the "right one." At least, not for everyone. I believe that, if one wants a belief system, they should find one that fits them rather than trying to make themselves fit a belief system. If that makes sense. I'm pagan.

I believe there is something but I don't believe I have to authority to say what it is. But something beyond our comprehension. If not oh well. Then sweet nothingness.

There's sort of a spiritual component to that belief, I suppose. It's interesting how certain things can feel 'spiritual' even to non believers. I still describe things that way even though I gave up my spiritualism for lent a few years ago. It just seems like the perfect way to describe deeply felt things like awe or oneness with a community.

I think some of the concepts are cool, regardless of whether I believe in them. I like the concept of angels, for example. I often call my girlfriend an angel. And I still use the term "soul" when referring to someone's inner self. Things like that.

I don't believe in religion at all but the spiritual aspect, I do? It's weird, I have a spiritual connection to Hindu dieties. The trimuti, Shiva, Vishnu and Brahma in particular but my connection to Shiva is the most palpable out of all three.
I am very interested in unlocking my third eye, to achieve that highest level of self-awareness and enlightenment. I wish to be closer to Shiva than ever before and I believe opening my third eye will help with that, to be on the similar plane as he is. It would be extremely fulfilling and just thinking about it gives me butterflies in my chest!
I have also had out-of-body experiences but I am unsure if it's just dissociation or something else. When I look back on my memories of childhood, I see them from bird's eye view, as if I was watching from above my physical body when it actually happened. It appears my memories are being modified to bird's eye view even though I experienced them from first person view, within my mind. It's confusing to say the least...!

I'm not religious, I don't believe in or adhere to a religion. I do believe in God and in His Son Jesus Christ and I have a spiritual relationship with Him. I don't believe that there are true Atheists, it's always apparent that even they are aware of spiritual things, and I can assure you that if someone was pointing a gun at your face, that there would be a few short seconds as the slack was being taken up on the trigger that everyone would want to believe in a Higher Power and in a new life in another dimension, it's inherent!
I see evidence of God in all of nature, one would have to be stone deaf and blind to miss it. On the other hand I will always respect other people's disbelief as I have been there once myself and it is a very personal decision and not something that anyone else has the right to trample on.

That's interesting... I don't experience my memories in any particular view, first person, bird's eye... For me they're just... there. I'm not sure how to describe them.

I'm about as "true" an atheist as you'll find. I've been in death's grip and never wished for an afterlife or suddenly turned deist/theist. Can't say there was ever a moment in my life that I believed in a god. I guess I'm also stone deaf and blind, 'cause I see nothing spiritual when I look at the world. I see boundless beauty and complexity, but that doesn't equal spirituality to me. By the way, I'm not offended. I know this post might come off that way since no one can hear my tone over the internet. I'm more amused that you think my lack of belief can't truly exist.

Said that I was where you are at one time. Let's just say that it's a transitional thing and that if we transition physically and mentally do you think that we don't transition in other aspects of our understanding and just remain static?

I am quite uncomfortable with talking about it. I am quite intense on my beliefs... Blessings on yours... be careful my dears, have seen much and I assure you it should not be taken lightly. I'm born again Christian, I gave my heart to Jesus, when I was about 35 years old.. It's made my life richer, fuller and more unlimited than I ever felt during the years before.. It definitely helped me when I was feeling out of place and alone.. I don't fall for those who use the bible as a weapon to condemn and put down others, or believe God has any problem with any two people who love each other getting married.. Part of the beauty of accepting a religious view, is being able to use it to prove those haters who try and use your same religion to persicute others, the truth.. There are many places in the bible where Jesus uses genderless and transgendered people in his plans and daily walk, and God specifically tell the Eunuchs which are genderless people that he has a place in heaven for them who follow him that is higher than for his sons and daughters.. I feel bad for those who hate religion because of what ignorant people say and do, instead of really looking to who God is, and what's important to him.. This concludes todays sermon... LOL
