We have a bunch of seasoned Christians on forum.
This is a place where we can help each other, and not debate or worry about offense.
Others feel free to chat, seek, question... but no invalidating please....
Blessings dear ones

Thank you Satinjoy you know where I stand on my beliefs, maybe others who are far more eloquent than I will add their voices here. I believe, life experience has taught me the reality of my beliefs. I also believe others have the right to have their own beliefs without being questioned, we are after all, different . Patty

I am glad someone started this thread! I am a Christian and would really like other people to talk with on this forum about that stuff, especially since praying for recovery has been such a major part of my life lately. It was the sin of pride that caused me to do what I did - I thought that there was no God or that if there was, I believed I knew better than him or that he had made a mistake but now I can see how very wrong I was.
My dearest wish is that he sees my foolishness was not out of evil but out of ignorance - like a child I truly did not know or believe and I made my way blindly, a fool thinking that I could create something better than the miraculous life I already had before me.

Sweetie He knew you would, and he loves you. We will pray, you will heal, he already forgave. Now it's your turn to forgive. And we have you dear, we are here, and the people of faith here are real. It has to be hard. His life was hard. He knows. Blessings Trinity

ChaoticTribe, Trinity is right, we are forgiven for all our mistakes, now we just have to forgive ourselves and put it all behind us and move on with our ives. I know you understand that, but still it's something we always need to work on keeping in mind that nothing we can do now and no amount of regrets or hand wringing will change the past, it's all like water gone under the bridge and on down stream. We live in the present and look eagerly to the future, you haven't even finished the first quarter and have your whole life ahead of you, I think it's going to be a wonderful adventure!

The word says if we believe Jesus died for our sins, and we trust in his grace and forgiveness, we will be born again, and all of our transgressions will be washed away, and we are promised a place in heaven by his side...

Actually I won't rattle off. But having that connection in prayer is everything. He does what he does, faith helps, but with prayer, all outcomes are better, understanding comes, insights, and communion. And he does do healing, yes we have seen lives spared, odds beaten, it's true. Getting that connection and communion Christ is so important to me. Supernatural or just reality. I think it is reality, the supernatural, but not well understood. For me he is no genie, he is a powerful god we get access to who loves us. Yes, will pray. Have not felt outcomes but know you need to be here. Thanks, both of you, all of you. Blessings Trinity

I can't speak for God, but I know when we pray things do happen, though not necessarily in the time frame or how we expect them to happen. We prayed for my brother, a total inebriated alcoholic with never a sober day in forty years. It seemed like a waste of time and then suddenly one day he turned himself in to a drug and alcohol rehab unit, stayed there for sixty days and hasn't had a drink in the last fifteen years. I fully expected him to drink himself to death.
I know that people will pray fervently for complete healing for a loved one who is suffering a severe health issue. When the loved one dies those praying just assume that their prayers hadn't been answered. That's because we all have a finite view of life and fail to consider the probability that the prayer was answered fully and that their loved one is now living quite happily in a new and better place. It takes a leap of faith, and who knows for sure?

Know that you all are in my deepest prayers every day. Always know that God loves you, right where you are. No matter what you have done, or anything others have told you. God doesn't promise he will cure all the pain in the world, or in our hearts, he just promised he would go through it with us, protecting us, and blessing us in his own ways.
Many of us who have surrendered ourselves to him, know as real as the air we breathe, that God is near us, helping us, steering us towards better things.
Many times the affection and love that flows from me to all of you, is just a reflection of the love I know God has for me, and for all of us.

OK so I really don't know if I could be even considered Christian. Of course I believe Yeshua walked the earth and was a great teacher and is a much older Spirit created directly from God. I believe we are indirect creations from the seven Elohim but no less or more important than any other Creations created indirectly or directly from God. I guess I could be considered a Gnostic since that was the earliest form of Christs teachings and the Christian relgion. So in short I have no idea where I fall because I believe in Christ's teachings and One God but I also believe that Christianity should have built upon Buddhist teachings and Buddhist teaching buit upon Hindu teachings and so on. No any religions seperated but rather built upon by the next Spiritual enlightenment that come along. I also tend to believe in reincarnation.
I really have hard time with this and am being extrememly sincere. So I ask everyone what would everyone consider me? No one has ever been able to answer this question from preists to preachers, from ministers to just plain old religious people. Can I even be classified with any religion? Any and all opinions are welcome and trust me I won't get offended. I'm just interested to hear what openminded and extrememly intellegent people that are more in touch with their inner selves think.
