Wondering what you experience when you break the binary?
I was out presenting pretty much guy but I wore my black feather earing.
LOL one guy on the street stared at me. I think he was attracted. I actually laughed and just kept walking.
A lot of stares today, especially by little kids trying to figure out what I was.
I've gotten to the point that on some things, I am in your face androgyne.
How about you?

Sometimes I'm shy in public and go more stealth, and feel bland and dull like I felt most of my life, but it is just easier sometimes, it's hard to explain.. When I take time to look as I'm most happy looking, nail polish, makeup, female jewelry, etc, I notice guys sometimes glance at me odd, but I get very positive vibes from other women, lots of smiles, they treat me nicer and more personal than the average guy, maybe cuz I seem much more non threatening and easy to relate to. I must admit also that women flirt and chat with me when I look more androgynous/femaleish when they never do when I an stealth male.. It's all still quite a mystery, most of which I still don't fully understand.?

I actually laughed and just kept walking. A lot of stares today, especially by little kids trying to figure out what I was. I've gotten to the point that on some things, I am in your face androgyne. How about you? Earring? Not earrings? I wear earrings even presenting as a guy. As for feather earrings I don't have any because the feathers just do not last long enough. Ohhh they are pretty depending but eventually fall apart quicker than gold, diamonds, whitegold and even sterling silver and stainless steel. I love hoops and the bigger the better especially with my hair length now. But I do like Dropdowns too. Diamond studs I love but would rather gold, whitegold large hoops. Hell even sterling silver. What ear did you wear it in that a guy was interested? LOL. Hell hon you could wear two and no one would think twice. Hell I wear two all the time and while in guy mode no one thinks anything. If I do wear one in the gay ear then I get looks and hit on. If I wear one in the straight ear then no one cares and if I wear them in both ears then I feel balanced and "real". Plus for some reason I get hit on more than even wearing in the "gay" ear. Yeah yeah yeah, I learned that the right ear is the "gay" ear. Who cares though? I love my jewelry. LOL one earring throws me off balance so I wear on in both ears. I'm just me. I am not in anyone's face. They can make their own minds up about me just like I can about them. I just don't care anymore what people think about me.

I don't "break the binary" in my presentation because I'm not out yet, but when I explained what were intersexual people to my parents they laugh thinking I was joking. Then they realised I wasn't, and they were like "Uhm... like snails?" Finally I managed to make them understand it. I was happy

kids love rainbow colored hair. apparently adults do too. met a cute little boy who was so fascinated he told hid mom that he wants such colors too.
who cares about the binary, colors are much easier expressed in hexadecimal.
i may not be breaking the binary you were thinking about though. i just am as much of me as i can express at one time, without adding too much of the negative.

I must admit also that women flirt and chat with me when I look more androgynous/femaleish when they never do when I an stealth male.. It's all still quite a mystery, most of which I still don't fully understand.? Yeah guys will look at you odd. Women will look at you different though. Yeah. They will look at you like 1. one of their own more or less unless they are closed minded idiots like my ex. And 2. women feel safer around other women. And 3. Who don't like femininity or at least a little bit attracted to it? Understand it hon. It is the same shit I deal with constantly. It is about outward actions or so on. Women are different than guys. when a woman has sex with another woman it is experimentation but when a guy "experiments" with another guy then they are gay or bi. Women can touch one another on the arms or grab hand but guys can't unless they are gay. OK so I'm gonna' get a little crude now. Guys get confused because they would fuck a hole in a tree if they can fit and it has honey around it. So with hair, makeup, nail polish and women's clothing and shoes they are trying to figure out how many holes you have with honey and if you are worth hitting on if you only have one. Yeah it sounds sexist and maybe is. But there are really good guys out there and then there are dawgs. This goes for trans or cis women. Really Laura. It all depends because if you like guys then be choosy and never settle for an ass. You are pretty and that is what they see without regard to what may be between your legs and then when they find out they get violent. Some may not care and curious but will never want a relationship that is worth while. The get the "honey hole" and then gone A good man will think you are pretty and not care what is between your legs but who you are totally and who you are between your ears. He may be considered gay, bi or straight. But don't get hung up on labels though. My BF now could be considered bi/gay from the way he talks but he is all man. OMG. Totally man. I know people that I assumed were gay but were actually cis and married to cis. I was actually surprised. Shocked really and it taught me to never assume. Hell I don't even care anymore. Never did really. Love who you wanna' love and be who you wanna' be and to hell and be damned with those who don't like it.

I always wear two earrings. Yes it has caused me some grief in the past but now days? No one seems to care. Or could actually care less. Of course in guy mode I wear studs or small hoops but in girly mode, anything goes. I tend to gravitate toward bigger thicker hoops or diamond studs.
When I first pierced my ears I was like, "Oh Shit. People are gonna' think something about me." They did but after about a week It didn't bother me too much. Actually some of the shit they were saying was secretly flattering even.
