I'm redlined tonight. Business stress. Hopefully will resolve by the end of April.
The result of that is that my normal defense mechs have actually failed. I wound up turning off the phone, went to bed and just kind of hallucinated as opposed to slept. Decent dreams last night though and my wife had a really good one. Then I mowed the lawn and this lawn is a bitch, I have to wear football cleats because of the hill. That was a good choice, I was in trouble for it and it released energy.
But, looks like we are going to take a chance on someone again, but this time its someone I know will take care of things.
So I'm a stressball. Normally I go guitar hunting on Craigs, but that's not needed, I have most of the types at this point, pretty much, and am in the middle of taking what I have and building it. So the classic go buy something to distract yourself is off the table. Though I need to make a fret puller tool pretty bad right now.
Normally, I take joy rides, take walks, watch tv, to get the levels down. Play music, that's a big one. Right now, I'm kinda paralyzed. And I post here to releive stress.
Listen to music, watch football...
I think i need to take the night off.
There's no gender associated stuff with this. There can be when the pressure comes off, let my hair down kind of thing there.
How do you react to stress? What stresses you out? How do you relieve it?
Now for a pound of dark chocolate.... and a steak....

Owning a business can be a lot more stressful than being an employee.
I'm not good at doing anything productive if I'm stressed out. I don't think I could live someplace with a lawn that needed mowing. I mostly relieve stress playing video games. I used to take joy rides, though driving around here often is stressful by itself.

Take a small simple pincher type pair of pliers and grind the end down carefully of course so it is flush on the tip of it, like the cutting edge is right at the end, it just needs to be able to get under the lip of the fret and also grind it so that rocking it slightly pulls faster, once the fret is heated, it takes very little to pull them up, wiggling it as you go, just keep moving it along the length of the fret and lift a little at a time, and all this is just so the little hooks in it don't pull up shards of wood off the fretboard. Using a couple drops of water while heating the fret along the edge so it soaks in some and softens the wood, as soon as it dries back out, like in an hour or two, its as hard as it was and besides, most of the time the wood is too dried out on those from using too strong of cleaner, degreaser type cleaners dry the wood out pretty bad, depends on the wood. There, advice like that is a stress reliever for me, if its followed, then I know there is one less headache for others, which is not to be confused with the advice I give on here for NB related stuff, its purely opinion and mostly speculative. Getting on here and reading all the posts from everyone is a big stress reliever as well, insightful things from people all the time, makes me know that the people here and NB in general are a cut above the rest for so many things, we have to be.
