I have had a long journey and I know I was born nonbinary. There is no doubt of this, it is a medical fact.
And we know that God knits us together in our mothers womb, and we all have the right to be the children of God, because, we are.
This morning, due to outside pressures and a few verses that bother me in the new testament, one of which is mistranslated in the King james as "effeminate" when the actual meaning is something else, I found myself doubting or worrying about my destiny as I was praying.
The Holy Spirit began to sorrow, cry, and that brought me up short fast, it hurts Him when I doubt that He loves me as I am and as I was created, not just nonbinary but all of me, my feelings and my soul, the whole of who I am, and I have been His for a very long time.
For so long there has been this dogma against those of us that are nonbinary, and yet, some of the earliest people were nonbinary, some were the eunichs, its not a new thing. But Jesus said that not all would be able to accept it.
Without focussing on the anger at the false doctrines which harm us, I'd like to just focus on the love of God for a moment.
Do you believe you being nonbinary separates you from Him, or do you believe that He is much more concerned about your heart, and who you help, and how much you love Him, since He loves you and me so much?
I don't ever want to make the Holy Spirit cry because I don't think He loves me.
I am no different from anyone else.
Its one on one, personal, how we relate to God. How He made us and how we feel about it all.
I just wanted to share that, I do get conflicted, but he result is always the same. I believe the rules for me are no different from the rules for the cis, and gender has nothing to do with my acceptance or inclusion with God. But the heart surely does, and I would be dead for decades by now it if wasn't for Him, over and over again, my life is full of interventions and divine appointments.
May the love of God embrace you like a warm blanket, and truth set you free.

God, let me never mislead anyone on this forum, nor ever steer me to make them stray from Your will. Let me speak the words of the loving Christ, and not fall prey to self deception or deception of others, let me not fall into false doctrine. Let me speak the truth, Your truth and the scientific truth of the bodies You designed for us and knitted together in the womb, for your glory and works and the path you created for each one of us. Let them all find their way, it is their path and their truth with you, not a truth of their own making, but the truth of how You made them, and the truth of how You wish to use that according you Your purpose, Your glory, Your vision, so that more can be helped through Your love, as vessels of your mouth and your hands. Let your love and Your will prevail in me, let there be nothing false, and let nothing be said that is not of You. Defeat the great darkness around us, and set us free, I beg you Lord, defeat the false doctrines of bigotry and hate and those who have hijacked Your truth to make it something that is not of Your love and grace.
If I err, than take me away from here. If I speak the truth and Your heart, then let me continue on this path of teaching of Your love and saving lives.
It is in Your hands.
May God give me grace and humility to be Your servent.

Good work on declaring vows to God. God is Lord and there is no other. I've been embracing a "Jordanized/Edomite" philosophy that all this life is broken and unworthwhile because evil has entered the world and life doesn't *really* begin until after the end, when all things return to God and sin is destroyed forever. We're in Christ and the body of Christ is a propitiatory shelter for sins.

One thing I am careful of when sharing faith on the board is making sure I keep it to what it is for me, my own experience. I am very aware of the incredible diversity we have here, and also the deep sensitivity we have if we have been burned by religiosity or the church. I have seen people litterally killed over the years based on old testament theology and ostracism, which you expressed you were concerned about as relates to transition.
So that being said, what works for me on the board when sharing faith is really keeping it based on how it is for me and me alone, and never telling others what to believe or how to live.
The best support, in my opinion, is when we share how it is for us, and if someone else likes that, then they can take from it, and if not, they can leave it alone.
Personally I have been demonized by others many times, and am very leary of legalism. I hate politics and what has been done to us by the far right, and don't do well with the far left either, I am an emphatic independent with very strong views and values. I am frustrated at having no representation in an extremist society.
Many of us on the board are quite to the left of things.
So, all a long way of saying, thanks for the credit, but it doesn't belong to me. I love the love of Christ fiercely, and I am trans nb.
Would love to hear how you are feeling about your gender and how its going for you at home and stuff like that apart from the relgion, though I know you are passionate about it.
Theology has become so volatile. It didn't used to be quite like that, but it is now, it became poluted by politics. The best thing I think that Christians can do is flat out be the love of Christ extended, and in this place, its usually as emotional support to folk coming in that are scared to death and mauled by the world, the church, the home, and just about everything else, and they often are hanging by a thread looking for some kind of hope and acceptance.
Blessings
T.
