I have just been learning about metoidioplasty. For a variety of reasons any kind of surgery is out of the question for me at the moment, so it will remain a distant dream. But I'm curious, has anyone had a metoidioplasty? Do you have to be on T to get one?

But I'm curious, has anyone had a metoidioplasty? Do you have to be on T to get one? Saw this and wanted to make sure you got a response. I have no info on it. And for a variety of reasons I am unlikely to get GCS either. If I did, I'd do it in Thailand out of pocket, the procedure is better for mtf functionality. |

What I do know is that its a big procedure and with anything like this, you go with the absolute best even if it means a longer wait. I have friends where it worked well, and other friends where it did not, and when any kind of bottom surgery backfires, its really horrible.

They are both major surgery and because it isn't done as much as like a lot of other ones, there is room for improvement and also better surgeons and most of all, better procedures that take it to another level.
