I would have to say republicans who would let trump shoot someone in Times Square and let him get away with it. And that covers not only the McConnellites, but the deplorables who said they are and so what. I don't think very many of them actually can find the definition for deplorable and they don't care, if its trump, then they like it, even if he is taking away their rights. The entire less than half, the minority to be sure, the can't get enough people together to have a protest in DC, are not thinking in terms of reality. Look on Youtube for the things republicans say, the things they say about trump, not the old boring ones, but the ones from late night comedies that interview actual republicans and trump supporters on the street. It really is funny as hell to see them just stumble and not be able to give an aswer to the simpilist of questions, they finally just make something up and say make america great again. And the only thin that isn't great about america are those people who think that trump is really doing that and that their lives are going to be golden forever. They just can't see from one end of the flat earth country to the other end and see that the only thing wrong is them. American was great when he got into office, and now it has gone so far downhill that the only way to get back to normal is to just get rid of the republican party and the alt right infestation of nazi they like bewcause they need that vote. Trump has finally gotten his wish that the pentagon has finally caved and no more trans in the military. But one of the things I haven't seen is the wording, I've heard it as birth sex and as birth gender, because there isn't a birth gender, a person finds that later on in a few years. Might seem like it was always there, but if you can't determine gender or sex, then how do you have one of those that is from your collected thoughts up until that point. So if they want to get real about it, they are going to have to now define what birth sex is as opposed to gender, they need to make a choice here because they say it is all choices and that gender isn't real if you change it from birth sex, but that's the equivalent of saying that my dog isn't real because it isn't a gender, it's a sex and if I call it gender things and names and declare it as NB because of the way it acts like all dogs do, you get the point, they are treading in deep waters again by saying shit that makes no sense to the majority of people, even deplorables I suppose. But this continuing trying to continue a lost argument that they are having against trans, that just sucks because it is more dangerous to people than being in the military is.

My biggest challenge is me.
I maybe don't really totally accept that I am non-binary. I still would much rather be a girl if I could pass. I'm also still unsure if presenting as a non-passing trans woman all the time would be as bad as I think it would be.
The rise of Trump hasn't really changed any of that, or my life personally. It cleared up some things I already knew, like that there were a lot of racist, xenophobic, homophobic, and transphobic people in this country, I just didn't know there were quite as many.

Battling myself. It's ok for me to be who I am, and not be ashamed. The itchy thought at the back of my head that I should settle on one binary or the next - life would be easier maybe than giving mixed signals every day... It's ok just to BE.

My biggest challenge as a nonbinary, at the moment, is anything binary.
Like, language. Language is very binary and there aren't many options that aren't binary and also aren't clunky.
Also having to choose gender on things that don't matter. Like, for surveys or signing up for websites. It's always male or female, and why does it matter for most of those things anyway? It doesn't. Some of them want an answer for sexist reasons, anyway. Like, so they can use it to assume what music I might like, or something equally stupid. I signed up for some movie recommending website and they really said that they wanted my gender so they could make better movie recommendations for me. How does that work?
So yeah. Currently, my biggest issue is binary things. Not that binary things exist... but that EVERYTHING is binary.

There is always the standard question of sex, and the idiots who use gender instead when they mean sex. As far as a persons gender is concerned, it is none of anyone's business. If it is for some biological thing like the Dr... maybe, then they can ask. I leave it blank and if they insist I just go to the next place, thing, whatever. They want to rent you shit like When Harry Met Sally, because they have it and nobody watches it. They just want to give you chick flicks and not show you the cool guy stuff that everyone likes anyways. There is no real divide on movies, if more women like one, then they do, doesn't make it a women flick, you know? In forms I fill out in person, I leave it blank and if they get insistent about it, I start in asking them about their gender, sex, just anything I want to be nosey. Works most of the time, they don't want to give out info about themselves and I don't want to if it doesn't have a thing to do with it, screw'm.

I'm not too sure what the biggest challenge is, apart from health care that doesn't care about nb. Might be Jordan Peterson, he has said some really weird things to make nbs sound like the craziest kind of snowflakes. That isn't too good when (angry) young white men seem to like him a lot, and are unable to see the difference between advice from a paychologist and some odd political agenda (which nobody really knows what is). Only mentioning it because my two younger brothers have become fans, and they have started saying weird things about groups of people.

Only mentioning it because my two younger brothers have become fans, and they have started saying weird things about groups of people. Just quickly on the topic of JP: The guy doesn't like Marxism. That's his whole political agenda. Nothing he says actually makes any sense unless you see it from the perspective of trying to protect the status quo, particularly the social hierarchies which he sees as being inevitable and therefore good and necessary (they're not, if you haven't noticed). I think he believes that he believes what he says, but it often doesn't add up if you bring it all together. I've been reading Jung lately, and he doesn't even do that part of his rambling properly. He's honed in on some random details, oversimplified a bunch of other stuff, and ignored everything else. Anyway... My challenge as an NB, is really just gender being a big deal (but still having most people be blind to just how big a deal society makes it). I feel like I'd be able to express myself much more comfortably if making a few, fairly subtle forays outside of my assigned gender norms wasn't going to end up in some big, charged conversation where I have to defend myself for a solid 20 minutes plus. It'd be so much easier to figure this out if I could experiment with my presentation more freely, basically.
