The local Transfeminine Alliance (T-Fem) support group is planning a mental health initiative. I would like to hear from you as to what you feel are the most pressing mental health needs of the nonbinary and trans communities. You can respond here or message me. Thanks!

Depression seems to be more prevalent, a lot of the more common thought of things are more, but not always. Getting beaten down time after time by the people who are scared of anyone different wears on a person and it ends up giving all kinds of mental health problems. There is always the pressure from the clueless that if they keep up the attacks all the time, that we will see their way of thinking and that will make us all better,, cured so to speak. There are some mental health disorders that are not caused by that and are inherent to that person's life and being born pretty much, but then the pressure they get from that and then tran compounds the pressure. So really, not matter how you slice it and dice it, the bigots cause all kinds of hell that is the mental health problems they don't want to do anything about, if they do nothing, that will go away for them. It's the same principle that our govt has taken for the last two years, thay going nanana at every idea to fix things will just make the stuff they don't want to know about go away, disappear into an alternate universe. They think that by taking away all healthcare initiatives and forcing the poor and average person to go without health care is the way to make sickness and mental health related thing just disappear. And that has taken a giant toll on the mental health of not only the average person, but even more so for trans, by forcing that kind of thinking, they then allow all the neo nazis out there to speak up and force danger on trans. But they have been told to shut up in various ways and now that the great wall of America isn't going to be the eyesore and useless expensive piece of republican crap out there, maybe we can work on the things that are good for people instead now, so once all that has been done for most everyone, they might help out the people of trans. So it is all important that it is fixed for us as trans, because if it is then it has given the average person more than enough time to understand that if we are different to them, then they are different from us, so the whole problem with trans stuff will become null and void and America will not only be great like it always has, it will be greater and maybe we can work on helping the world become great as well, it's time we all got a break.

I think it is the spiritual aspect of it.
There is so much surrounding that, so much bitterness, so much of all kinds of things, deceptions, trans puberty, hormones, exclusion, loneliness, guilting, self hate. And the dreaded transition followed by detransition because it was not a persons truth, it does happen, its bad when it does.
Wedges driven between us and God, from without and within. Soulkilling doctrines, from the left or the right, it doesn't matter, the end is the same.
So for me, it is the spiritual side of it.
And for some of us, to be cut off from God is to die.
It's very difficult and a deeply personal choice for us, but we are a very beaten up group, and there is so much noise around us it is very hard to hear the still, small voice deep inside us that knows the truth and carries us on.
IMO.
