I'm at the stage where I've been given a lot of information about GRS and I'm weighing it all up in my mind about whether the procedure is right for me.
I've concluded that if I never want the full procedure then I should at least have my testicles removed.
As for the full procedure - it is quite an ordeal to go through but I think for the most part I could cope with it and I would definitely love the end result.
The one thing that puts me off is with regards to sexual sensitivity.
I'm a very sexual being. Yet despite this, reduction of libido on hormones has been very agreeable. I like being in control of it instead of driven by it. Although my mind is still horny I actually feel I can enjoy thinking about sex now without being troubled by an incessant need to masturbate. And I can still self-pleasure when I want to.
However there are 3 main concerns when it comes to GRS and sexual sensitivity.
1. Could I cope with a period of several months after surgery of not being interested in sex and having little sensitivity down there?
2. What if something went wrong and sensitivity never came back?
3. What if the different kind of sensitivity I'd have with female anatomy is disappointing or frustrating compared to male anatomy?
So I wondered if anyone who had had mtf lower surgery could enlighten me as to how long it takes for sensitivity and sexual interest to return after surgery? How possible or unlikely is it for anything to go wrong? And how does it feel with female anatomy compared to male anatomy?

It can go very wrong.
Thai procedures can be better than standard penile inversion. Look at techniques. They use materials in different ways.
Everyone is different. Some do not get full sensitivity. Nearly all do not for the first 3 months, it can take a year, from what I understand, to get whatever it is you are going to get.
Some are able to climax, some, never will again.
In the end, the only one that can really get a feel for this one is you.
I don't think any of us on the board on the AMAB side have had work done there.
Its not a current option for me, it could be but the reason would be due to family catastrophe, and I don't want that, so I'll keep it the way it is.

I’m in no rush to get bottom surgery either! I’m honestly very indifferent towards my dick, I could careless whether it’s there, or not! Although honestly I find it hot topping guys, plus as long as I have my dick I’ll always be able to make a little extra money from either camming, or escorting. Besides In my opinion taking advantage of men esp, the fetishists, and creeps who like girls with cocks, is all they’re good for! Gotta do what ya gotta do to survive in this world! I have no shame I’ll do what I have to to survive! But anyways yeah I’m in no rush either I’d rather wait until procedures/techniques are even better bc to be honest if I’m gonna trade my dick in for a pussy I want a pussy that’s as close to resembling & functioning as a cis pussy as possible. That’s like the biggest decision I could ever make, and I’m in no rush, nor do I mind waiting until medical system is even better! However I agree with trinity, if I were to go for bottom surgery I’d go to Thailand bc I looked up dr suporn work, and it’s incredible! Plus it looks better and sounds better compared to just penile inversion I’ve read about here in the states! Although I have read about peritoneal vaginoplasty, and i am very much do leaning more towards that! I guess from what I read they take a graft from your stomach liking and your pussy is self lubricating! I heard both Dr Suporn and this peritoneal vaginoplasty are better options for girls who aren’t very well endowed for penile inversion! I’m definitely not that very big so I don’t I’d barely get any depth from penile inversion. It is about Dr Supporn's work and the experiences of the women he has worked on. As of now he is considered the best in the world, and things still go wrong. Good show, wonder what will happen with it. It's gone off the path for me now. But yes, the women I know that have had it with him are very pleased with the results, although one of the girls had some compliations that were pretty devastating. Can't say anything more, its still in nondisclosure, that show, but Dr S is the top. Unlike Val, I don't want that thing.
