I use adblock plus and it works really good, and a lot of sites complain, but the damn ads they run are always moving off to the side and I can't concentrate because of them, have to read stuff twice.
So I like it and I am not about to buy because of a damn ad that is full of shit anyways, if they just had the whatever and stopped with the fancy ass crap to get attention, I might look at them, otherwise they can kiss my ass.
Proboards whines and whines and throws up this blue bar on the bottom that is even more annoying and they keep it up and don't stop, it slides up everywhere you go.
So on the threads I use a lot, I'll shut the adblock off for that thread, but the other day for some reason I just shut it off for the entire site.
So just like before, I can't get it to run fast enough to even keep up with my two finger typing speed, it takes forever to catch up, the pages are slow as hell, it's like having dial up internet all over again.
If they want you to look at the damn flashing fucking hard to see past ads they run that just fuck with your concentration and make reading a chore that is as slow as they are, then they can go fuck themselves.
I wouldn't care, but there is a certain amount of epileptic seizure shit that goes on, not serious, but after a couple hours it is, just kinda drains a person, they don't care they run the damn flashing ads that just suck anyways, groom your dog shit.
They suck even more when they can't make their site compatible enough that it doesn't slow it down to a total turd, refreshing doesn't work and it's their server they use near gere that does it and I have complained, they do nothing, the ads are king, but I'm not going to not use adblock, they can go to hell, they don't care about the people who can't get past the flashy shit so I don't give a flying fuck about their whining that it's the ads that make the site run, which is a lot of shit, they have lots of revenue and if they didn't, they wouldn't take the money to use an annoying as hell screen popup to ask you if you could please shut the adblock off, I run a different one and that cuts about half of them out, but adblock gets them all, same with the magazines that won't let you read them if there is an ablock, yet they run even worse ads, and loud as fuck ones, for shit that I'd never buy and won't because the ads suck as ads go anyways, nothing there.
