It goes back to the old forest.
Binary trans influencing nonbinary thought.
Cis binarism doing the same.
For the nb, binaristic thought can be destructive to us, leading to mental health crisis, transition choices that end in not truth or regret, destruction of lives through self deception.
And so I think we can become defensive or self protective. For the agents of the matrix, the gender construct, enforce binarism.
Even fully she I am always self aware that I do not fit the construct. That I was unplugged and there is no going back.
But binarism can still wreak havok in me.
Are you, or are we, anyi binary? It is other peoples truth, i respect that. Buut for me it is very dangerous to forget who I am.
And I do, and I become unbalanced if i start thinking male this or female that.
For the moment i judge a trait as male and see it in me I hate it. And thats due to abuse, caused by the male agents of the matrix.
But i am not a male i am something else now.
Am i anti binary?
Cant answer honestly yet.
Are you?
Are we?

Interesting topic Trinity! I think I'm anti binary in the sense that I am against the idea or construct of the binary. I don't think that has to mean I am anti-man or anti-woman identity. You know? I have no problem with people who are one of those genders, I just have a problem with the idea that everyone has to be either man or woman, that no one can be both or something different or fluid, etc

I don't really want to be anti-woman or anti-man, and definitely don't want to be anti-binary trans.
Binary trans narrative fits me in many ways, though not completely.
Still, don't personally want to go from following one strict set of rules to another strict set of rules, which is largely all I see gender as.
People telling other people how to live their lives, why do so many want to be like that?

At first I wanted to say no, because why would I be against other peoples' identities? But then I thought about it and realized that maybe being anti-binary doesn't mean I want the binary identities of male and female to be gone... and maybe instead it just means being against binary as a default way of being. Like... anti-FORCED-binary. And being totally for changing society to be open when it comes to gender, and allowing everyone to experiment with gender without any sort of shame or push to be a certain way. So then... maybe I am anti-binary. I guess it depends on what you mean by it.

I generally think what will be will be. Binary or not, identities are important and should be respected.
For myself, I try not to limit myself to one extreme or the other. I really can't, with the support I have now, but that's neither here nor there. I realize in order to be happy, I have to embrace both sides of myself when they arise without denying them, or I become insecure about how I look and feel. Sometimes I am She, sometimes I am They (whatever people want to ignore that).
I think, like Yuki, there shouldn't be a push from birth to be a certain gender based on birth characteristics. I really wish for the day when people are just people, not a "kind" of people, and can just be, without scrutiny.

For all the things in my life that hinged on the demand that I be the man, to buck up, to be aggressive, all of it drained the life out of me. Sure I was good at whatever I did, but that means little to me as I am now. In the old forest, the expressed dislike of anything not transsexual binary from the members there just took over the little section we had. It just got worse and worse, the moderators would get on us for talking about NB in the androgyne section, which we got named changed to NB. But the attacks were on the people who had a hard time taking their shit all the time, I fired back at them all the time, I wasn't going to let them do that. So in those last few months, they put the squeeze on in such rude ways, behind it all was the we don't really exist, NB is not real. We had the forest there from a post by someone a long long time ago, and it really became ours, we had our discussions revolve around it. What kind of creature are you in the forest took off and we talked in ways that they just couldn't figure out, we didn't intend on it, but we did. They tried to get in on it and we shut that crap down, all they wanted was to destroy anything we had accomplished there. But it did get really bad and the forest burned, they burned the bridges that led out from it, we scattered until Jacey opened up this forum, and it is still the forest for us. So from that experience alone, sure I have a lot of problems with those people, it wasn't all of them by any means, but there were enough and they were the lead people there. They even tried to take this forum down, but the retaliation that happened because of it caused all kinds of grief for them, they just stopped one day, so we did too after a month or two. The threads for all of that are hidden for good reason, that stuff shouldn't have to happen again and I think they have seen us in a different light and I could give a fuck about them. So yah, for select people, because they are binary and would cause harm to us, you bet, I'd like to take aim and take them down, take their lives and turn them inside out. But in general, absolutely no, being binary means nothing to me, their choice, go for it, so be it, happy days and all that shit. So long as they return the same to us, it's all good and most of them have no idea about us and could care less, they have more important things in life than to worry about someone's gender. A huge majority of people in this country are like that, they simply put that alt right kind of thinking on the back shelf if at all and let people be people. I could care less about that in return, it matters very little if at all if they are binary, it isn't their fault at all, they are caught up in the fantasy that there are genders to begin with. It's so strong, that pull that I can't escape it as much as I'd like, just bombarded with the binary crap all my life, but I had a trans girlfriend when I was twenty and that really set the stage for me. A long road to the realization that binary doesn't need to be, that we can be something different, and it's been a long journey to get here. But I'm not looking back and holding the hate I had for some to eat away at me, if I did I'd be dead, there were a lot of them in my lifetime, but they paid their dues for it. The ones who go along with the group mentality of hating trans for an unknown reason are just the forrest gump's of the matrix, what they do as individuals isn't a bother to me, so I could care less about them being binary.

I wouldn’t say anti binary, I just wish that there was much more awareness and understanding of individuals who don’t fall into either the male or female gender completely or not at all etc. Equally as important anyone who is a trans women or man need more recognition in society and acceptance. I guess who I am is who Iam and I didn’t choose it or decide to be non conforming one day. Due to the fact I feel somewhere in between a women and a man I should embrace it and feel privileged that I get to experience the best of both genders but that in reality is very difficult. Very interesting topic to talk about though

We are not anti man, anti female.
But both we had other feelings and we couldn't stay any longer to belong to one of these two groups our self. That's why we stepped out, and transformed to get outside to a group where we are connected to. Just become comfortable with our self. It has nothing to do with society, but with our self.

I am not antibinary, and I have walked the tightrope between binary trans and nonbinary me for a long time now. I can see both sides.
But I am against ENFORCEMENT of binary rules on others, and also against enforcing nonbinary rules on those who are binary, if that is their Truth.
Where I can rage, and I do, is when one group harms the other, intentionally or through ignorance. And over the last four years that rage has become difficult to handle to the point that I can no longer watch the news.

I'm anti anyone who is anti me, which is just the same old same old, bigots are bigots because they don't realize how stupid they are and even when told deny it but hate to be called bigots for calling other people names, they are basically anti themselves to a point. But I seriously don't give a shit what anyone wants to be, even bigots, because somebody has to be the absolute worse that humanity has to offer, otherwise we would all just be happy and if there wasn't their barrages of constant crap, how would we know we were happy as ourselves and be happy that we are not like them, just saying it isn't so much anti anything but I kinda think they serve that purpose of examples of what not to be, which is different than anti anyone, or just anti everyone which is how they tend to come off as, hard to imagine bigots being friends even with each other.
