If you use any sort of app to help with your symptoms, post it here, it might help someone else.
I'm currently using Booster Buddy (iPhone, don't know if on Android) which has a cute animal you must wake up by doing 3 tasks to help yourself during the day, after you check in with your mood. If you check in in Crisis, there are options - you can input beforehand the number to your hospital, mental health professionals, coping tasks that are effective for you (they have a selection but are limited imo in efficiency) it will also remind you to take any as needed medication for anxiety if you take it. You can track your mood more than once, keep track of medications you need to take throughout the day, appointments, or other goals you want to meet in the calendar. For every task you complete, you get coins, which you can use to buy swag to dress up your cute animal buddy. not helpful, but cute.
Opinion: helps with mild to moderate depression. can sometimes leave you hanging if you need more.
Just started using Moodtrack (iPhone, not sure if android compatible) which lets you use a word to describe your mood, and you may then rate 1-5 on how you feel. it posts (without an subscription) publicly, and other may heart to support your posts, or comment to further relate. Best if using a screen name nobody can trace to you if you're paranoid. Paid subs can have private entries. you can track mood more than once a day if you have moodswings (like me) and it will show on the chart. Good for tracking your mood over time, so you can keep an accurate picture of your mental health for any professional you see.
Opinion: Limited usage, but can't hurt. Just started today.
Just started Pacifica (iPhone & Android!!) which has a number of functions, a number of which are locked behind a paywall. but after using what was already there, I took a gamble and paid for a monthly sub. It has tools that are helpful and much like CBT, without the snarkiness of your therapist's opinions! (Can you tell I've had a bad week yet) You can set goals, track health (many options paid here, eating, caffeine intake, oudoors activity, social interaction, water intake, exercise, etc.)
There's just a lot to explore with this one, and it made my day better already a little.
Opinion: worth a sub if you can afford it, but try out the free features first to see if it gels with you.
