Is anyone on the Depo shot (it's a progestin birth control shot)? I'm considering using it with low-T to have a super slow "masculinization" until I'm at the neutral point I want, but also ending menstruation, which low-T often doesn't do, because its such a low dosage.
I should have an appointment with an endocrinologist soon (playing phone tag with her admin right now) to talk about these things in more detail/ as they affect me individually, but I wanted to see if any of you were trying similar things and how it worked out for you.

Depo estadiol for me. Estradiol cypionate.
Cypionate is a pretty good delivery system.

Keep in mind that it isn't so much the amount you have, it's the ratio, the ratio is the same if the amounts are high or low, that's what you adjust to get to where you want to be. It does take a constant bloodwork thing going, but it pays off. There are ranges that all of the hormones should be in, but the two you are looking at should stay in the range and then have the right ratio, like a guys or woman's, or somewhere in between, so it doesn't take much to change that, you might not have to use both, but bloodwork will tell you where you are. And even that can be time of day dependent, and dependent on a lot of things, they do change all the time, so it's the average that counts. And adding to one can change the other one to a point, so it isn't quite as clearcut as you'd like it to be, but keeping an eye on it and determoning if the amount is what you think is right is key to it, if you think it is right, then the numbers don't mean as much, you know how they are doing by how you feel, so once used to it, you know without having to go through the numbers of another bloodwork up.
