50mg, I just have to get used to the side effects. Appetite has dropped but for me thats a good thing.
Stomach is getting better. Have to pee a lot but that's also because I have excess fluids in my legs. Usually take Furicimide for that but this handles it just as well.
I'm not complaining
Just the normal cycle I go through with any medication.
50 mg is low dose. Check wikiwhatever to get info on spiro, lowering T is a side effect in the sense of what it's original use was for.
It's used for a lot of things, and I eventually stopped using it and found that E alone was good enough for low dose, but YMMV.
Watch that you aren't losing to much sodium, as odd as that sounds, and that your potassium intake isn't high, you'll find out on your next blood work.
There is an adjustment to it, and you'll feel the difference once the initial effects go away, but it is a lot less than E is going to do as far as the effect.
It's all about the ratio of T and E, along with the ratios for all of them, but for this, it's about the T and E.
With low dose, it isn't as important and spiro is the usual initial thing they give you, but just the E alone will give you what you want.
YMMV, but I've heard that enough times to think it's true, although it is ultimately up to you.
Getting T down initially is a good way to go, boosting E with a sudden change can be a lot, depending on the system used.
You should feel better in the next day or two, if not, talk to the prescriber, but the more you know about it, the better... be informed.
Spiro is what will kill your sex drive the faster of the two, it will also shrink your stuff, but at low dose levels, this takes quite a while before it is noticeable.
It can be a permanent change, no going back, after 3-12 months, more likely the longer, but again, YMMV.
I'd make a case for getting the E as soon as possible so you can see the difference it makes, there is the chance it might not be right, but it almost always is.
Spiro will get you to that ratio, but it would need to be a higher dose and you still might not get where you want, E is the thing that will change the ratio the fastest.
But spiro might be the thing to use for excess water weight, I don't know about that, eventually the peeing all the time goes away...
I wouldn't count out the furicimide just yet.
