My biggest source of dysphoria is by far my breasts. I've hated them since they began developing and they've always seemed like parasites that attached themselves to my chest instead of being a part of my body. I'm ordering a binder the next time I get paid because I can't deal with this for much longer, but does anyone have suggestions for what I can do in the meantime? I'm fighting an overwhelming urge to engage in eating disorder behaviors due to my dysphoria, but I've worked really hard on my recovery and don't want to slip back into that. I can't go there again. I already wear minimizing bras that I think make me look flatter than a sports bra, but I don't know of any other ways of making my chest look flatter without a binder or binding in an unsafe way. What do you do when you can't bind, but are experiencing chest related dysphoria?

Any time I am experiencing body dysphoria I will try to refocus my attention on one of the parts that I can accept and enjoy. In the beginning it was only the eyes, later on I had the physical changes to help my dysphoria. The binder should help you, it will make a difference for you.
I would think maybe a tight tank top over the sports bra might make your perception of that change, I don't know though, you are experiencing a mirror image of my gender, as mine is the exact opposite.
Its a temporary fix, but to focus on what is working, and on what is going to be as if it is now, that may help a little bit.
Hopefully some others will weigh in on it. But I usually look for the things I like, and ignore what I do not like. Like my bottom. Sometimes that bothers me, other times, I am ok with it.
No don't do the eating disorder. I used to race a professional racekart, and even my camaro, to take my mind off the pain.
Its not easy. Keep talking about it, and being aware of being your gender, regardless of this flesh envelope that is there right now.
Share about it, let your feelings out on the forum, don't bottle it up.
Loose clothing, and a "mens" sport jacket over that. I use a male type suit jacket at work to cover my boobs, and sometimes wear a scarf.
Leather jackets hide too.
Hope that is at least a hint for you.

I wear a wire free sports bra if I cannot wear a binder. It helps keep them bound down and greatly reduce the amount of wiggling it does.
I just wear that, wear a baggy t-shirt over the top and distract myself (using things from Coping Mechanisms thread)
