OK so Tranny is short for transsexual. I guess I am a transsexual since I live more as female than what I have between my legs which is a tiny penis. Yeah everyone laugh now. I'm used to it. I have been laughed at many times by potential girlfriends that were totally straight. The half assed lesbian GFs kind of like it. They could actually tounge the "little fucker". But not really that embarrassed though. OMFG Lesbians know how to do the best shit whether it is with a woman or trans woman. So I guess I am a She male too. I am a She and have a penis so what the fuck am I? I think it is time we took these words back like gender queer folk have taken the word "queer" back and used it in a positive way. After the Pulse Nightclub shooting, I think it's time to own up to our descriptions and take them back from the idiots. Idiots can call us whatever they want but they get those descriptions from somewhere. I wonder where when it comes to trans? Porn sights? Google? Wikipedia? Yahoo? Why are totally straight people looking up those words anyway on any search engines? GEE. I wonder why. Note: Notice the period instead of the questio0n mark. I know why.... I think it's time we stood on our own and lets put the big "T" in the LGBT community. We are "T" whether transsexual, transgender, non-binary, gender queer or anything else. We are the Big TEE and it's time that we stopped letting the rest of the community use us for nothing but numbers but recognizing us for who we really are. Hello. I am Jamie and I am a Trans woman. Nothing more and nothing less.

Sh'e is good enough for me. But yeah, why is shemale and tranny derogatory? I think because its associated with porn.

I think because its associated with porn.Yeah you would be surprised how many guys know us by those names from that industry. But hey it gets us on some people's minds. Even though they may never admit to it. Oh Puhlease. I mean why look at shemale porn if you aren't interested in something more? Just put on a dress and shave your legs and underarms, learn how to do makeup and you can look in a mirror and get off. There is a reason why there are so many sights dedicated to trans women porn and that is because there is a market for it. That means there is a demand for it. Who demands it though? More than you may think from the curious to the closeted to straight guys that are just attracted to beauty and femininity. That last part though. Since a lot of women are taking more masculine roles especially in the workplace, I think a lot of men straight and bi long for someone ultra feminine. Since gay is not as taboo anymore and a man having a relationship with someone else that has a penis is not really a big deal anymore. I don't see porn as derogatory. I see it pretty much as an escape and fantasy world for some that may actually want to exert their will an or desires upon us without our consent. For some people, porn quells their desires. For others it may build into something more. But then there is always prostitution. This is why I think prostitution should be legalized and regulated in the way of medical exams and so on. When something goes "underground" that is when you get the criminal activity. Take Nevada as an example. All the ranches and motels and so on, the girls get checked and are really picky about who their clients are. If not then they go out on the streets and then it is illegal. So any guy in the big N state with a hard on goes the cheap way out is "rolling the dice" and taking a chance. I mean the Vegas Telephone book has more Escort Services pages than lawyer pages. Where I live now there are more lawyers than restaurants in the phone book. BTW. The world's oldest profession is prostitution because there is a big demand and huge market for it. Next would be porn because there is a big demand for that too. I am a commodity and my assets are a commodity and people pay me good money for my assets as well as myself. I own trucks and can drive a big truck safely down the road without killing anyone or going off the road and people pay good because I was willing to live a certain way and are willing to pay because I have drivers that can do the same. I am no different than a porn star with certain assets and gets paid for it. Hell as much as I got screwed by companies, shippers, receivers and brokers, I maybe would have gotten screwed less as a porn actress and made more money. Just sayin'. When you drive a truck a lot of companies see you as nothing more than a slave when it should be the total opposite. We give up a lot to drive a truck because we can live how we want to, dress how we want while working, eat when we want and if you have the guts to just say no, sleep when we want. I had one broker try to screw me out of 150 bucks by offering me 50 bucks to stay in the middle of nowhere in the middle of the night on a 2 picup load. I made an agreement with the guy that was shipping the furniture for 100 bucks and told the broker we came up with our own deal for me staying the night behind a warehouse waiting until morning on my second pickup. She had a shitfit. The guy took them to court because they tried charging him 200 bucks for me to layover and only offered me 50? I sent a letter, made twice as much in cash and he won the lawsuit. LOL this stupid broker bitch had no idea big trucks use diesel instead of gasoline bcause we got into it on the phone. She said she would never use me agian and I told her my ass was worth way more than 50 bucks and then asked how much her's was worth. She hung up on me. I am no different than anyone else. I sell myself at times and what I own to make a living. My skills are driving safe and my trucks. Sex sells everything from clothing to jewelry to cars to coffee and foodstuff. For both men and women. From pretty hair to makeup to sixpack abs to pretty and handsome faces to suggestive material to fantasy material. A lot of it is subliminal, gay straight and bi. If pornography and someone taking matters into thier own hands instead of commiting a rape on someone unwilling then I am all for it. If they need to pay a prostitute and she or he is willing to fulfill someone else's fantasies and or kinks without facing bodily harm then more power to them. I can respect it. I am really no different when it comes down to it. Are any of us? I mean most of us go to work everyday, take a lot of shit from a boss, get screwed over, have to kiss ass to get ahead, have to bow down to the almighty arogant supervisor and so on.

Some prudes say porn is a "public health crisis". I think shemale porn is a large part of why being transgender is becoming more acceptable...I wouldn't mind being associated with it, though I'm not really currently quite hot enough to do it...

Spiritual and family crisis maybe, for those who get hooked.
Shemale bottoms look and act just like me. I see me.
I just live differently socially.
If the heels fit...wear em.

Some prudes say porn is a "public health crisis". I think shemale porn is a large part of why being transgender is becoming more acceptable...I wouldn't mind being associated with it, though I'm not really currently quite hot enough to do it... I always say if you are gonna' get screwed working a job you might as well get paid good for it. How many people have to kiss ass to get a promotion. Like that's not degrading??? If not then the people kissing the ass have serious problems when it comes to submissiveness. They call them "brownnosers" for a reason. That is one thing that I can say that I am proud of. I never kissed ass to get ahead. Even in the military. In basic training I kept my mouth shut, did what I was supposed to do and tried to make myself as small of a target for the drill instructors as possible. It worked. When I got to my first duty station I always volunteered for whatever commitment that came up. Not to kiss ass but to stay out of eyesight of everyone else. Plus working late nights or early mornings kept me out of PT and taking days off sleeping instead of all the other BS. In the states it was harder but I volunteered for whatever to get me out of the unit and more on my own. Sometimes it worked and sometimes it didn't. It may look like I was kissing ass but I volunteered so much to get the fuck away from everyone else. Plus being good at what I did went a long way too. Give me vehicle and turn me loose or attach me temporarily to another unit for support or whatever anything but all the freakin' marching, running, formations, ceremonies or whatever else. The vehicle, whatever it was at the time, was ultimately mine and I had full control over it and decided what was safe even if my co driver outranked me. Sorry for the long story but you get the gist of it. So the moral of the story is that most people consider porn immoral or at least say it is, the same with prostitution, but there is such a big market for it that it goes on and on. Not just that but you call them prudes? They are more like "Faux Prudes" because they say one thing but what they do in privacy or when they think no one they know or knows them aren't looking or anywhere around, they can get a little wild. At least real prudes practice what they preach but most do not. It is all about vanity in front of their neighbors, peers and friends. There are plenty of public health crisis. Obesity, drinking, smoking, hell even working a normal job can be dangerous even from stress and is more likely to kill you quicker than AIDS or HIV or other STDs. Look at the cops that were killed just for doing their jobs in the last month or so. Look at the victims in France for celebrating Bastille Day. Guns kill? Well 84 killed and many more injured by a deranged terrorist with twisted ideas and a truck. That is more victims by vehicle than the Pulse nightclub, Dallas cop massacre and Baton Rouge cop massacre with firearms. So should we all call for a truck ban? Personally I would rather take my chances with at the biggest a half inch projectile weighing ounces coming at me than an 8 foot wide projectile weighing upwards to 40 tons coming at me in an enclosed space around a large group of people. So even having fun now days could be seen as a public health crisis. Besides, the actors and actresses in the porn industry are probably just as clean or cleaner and disease free as the average guy or girl that you would meet in a bar especially when they get tested more often. Same with the escorts and ladies working in legitimate brothels in Nevada. Besides you don't have to be hot, just feminine. Makeup can do a lot especially when applied by a professional makeup artist. I mean you have all types that are attracted to all states of transgender. From the closeted gay guy that could care less about boobs but long hair and makeup and a smooth body kind of quells the guilt of them being attracted to a penis or it might just be what they like. Attraction is just as unique as we are as individual humans. I mean a lot of people use the words Shemale and Tranny with no malice intended because they only know what they see and hear commercially. I have heard these words used totally innocently and I have heard these words used with malice too. The key is that you can't let the idiots and assholes use the words to hurt you. "It" does sting a little but you come right back at them with something like, "I would rather be an 'It' than a 'what the fuck?' though like you, asshole". It usually shuts them down or pisses them off. If it pisses them off to the point that I think they may hurt me then I have something like the tazer I keep in my purse. I mean have you seen most of these people that do use the words with malice? I wouldn;t let them touch me with a ten foot pole because thier "stank" is so bad and for thier looks? Forget about it. Most look like the hillbillies on the Wong Turn movies. Or close to it anyway. Maybe not that bad but not that far away either.

Spiritual and family crisis maybe, for those who get hooked. Shemale bottoms look and act just like me. I see me. I just live differently socially. If the heels fit...wear em. I don't think even then. Porn is more or less fantasy and using it to enhance a relationship can do wonders. Porn is not reality. Someone that gets hooked on porn though and can't enjoy their relationship is usually hiding from what turns them on and keeping that from their partner. So why hide? Opening up to what turns you on and your partner opening up to what turns them on and sharing and fulfilling those fantasies for both is the ultimate in intimacy between two people. Socially we can be whatever we want others to see. As long as we keep true to ourselves. Hell there are still some situations that I have to be male but it is starting to get harder to hide the femme though. I mean a chin length bob with bangs and hairless arms and legs with feminine plucked brows? People are starting to notice certain things. Oh well my body and my rules pertaining to hygiene.

you're totally missing the point.
shemale and tranny are derogatory because of misogyny. lots of men are terrified of being identified as anything "less" than "manly man", because that would make them a pussy, a female, simply something that is less worth in society.
and because of this fear of not being manly enough, they would rather pretend to hate the concept of a woman with a penis, no matter how much they love the fantasy of doing all kinds of stuff with one. because if you can like something with a penis, that makes you gay. and if a man is gay, he's automatically also more of a woman, thus less than a man. again worth less in society.
feminism, the sort that fights for equal worth rather than a society ruled by women, still has a very long way to go. men still see women as objects with less intelligence, who are unable to make good decisions without the help of a man.

I really don't think I am missing the point though Taka. Queer was once derogatory and genderqueers have taken the word and made them their own. When I was young, gay and lesbian or "lesbo" was derogatory but now it is normal to call someone gay or lesbian because of their sexual orientation and the term 'lesbo" is never even mentioned anymore. So what am I? I am she that happened to be born male so I can take the word shemale and make it my own. I have been called gay, faggot, tranny, shemale, heshe, It and even a few time a MAG (male ass grabber). Everything except faggot and It is true. I am a genetic male and like men so I am gay, I guess, I am feminine so I can be called a shemale or heshe. I am transsexual because now I'm living more feminine than masculine so I am a tranny. There are plenty of guys that are not gay or bi that are attracted to us. Of course they could be called gay or bi but those words are not derogatory as much anymore. I think a lot of men are attracted to the femininity that we embrace and cherish within ourselves as shemales and trannies. So why can't we take these names like the gays, lesbians, and bis took back? Who lets these descriptions be derogatory? We do. Why do we? Because we perceive them as negative. Throughout history as an example Helen of Troy had a face that launched a thousand ships because she was so beautiful. Delilah had the power to seduce Samson enough to cut his hair and thus take his strength away. And while we are at it how the hell was Samson so powerful because of long hair when the Roman Empire or Christianity as a whole dictated and still dictates short hair on men? Not to leave FTMs out though because Joan of Arc was a great warrior and rose high in the ranks with her short hair and gender bending actions until Joan served their purpose and then became and abomination even though God supposedly spoke directly to them? Society as a whole is confused I believe. As for misogyny though. There is a balance between the masculine and feminine. Yeah it kind of sux when women supposedly get paid less than men in the same position. I don't see it though in my profession. In the oilfield women working offshore get paid the same amount as their male counterparts. I will not deny though that some men have a hang up with a woman with a penis. Some don't though. But the assholes are the same men that have hang ups with gays, hate lesbians especially lipstick lesbians they are attracted to and probably feel inadequate about their own sexual prowess so they have to talk about someone else. What is the opposite of mysogony toward men? There are no guy nights at bars to draw women into the mix. But damn near every bar and club has a ladie's night. Oh yeah we have Male models that are bad ass but that is to sway guy's girlfriends to urge them to buy whatever they are selling. I don't see gay men as aoutomatically women. I have a lot of gay friends and they are more man than som cis men I know. My current boyfriend is more masculine than most cis men and he is considered bi or gay. He would rather have a transwoman than a guy but a cis woman does not have what he wants and he is totally top only but don't want a cis woman. My very best child hood friend is gay and he is pure masculine. But he likes guys that are bottom. I tried and I am too much woman for his taste. I wish I had all the answers of gender and sexuality Taka but I don't. It is more complicated than the human genome and why we end up with blue eyes from two brown eyed parents when dark is more dominate than light genetically. Warning: Do not read if easily offended by sexual content. Yeah. I am bottom. I would never be top. I don't fucking know why. I don't want to put my thing in my BF. I can't explain it. I don't even know why because I love oral. Well mine don't even get that big and never stayed that hard anyway and what comes out is only clear. This could be why I never had children. Yes I am fucked up it seems biologically anyway. Maybe two fucked up genes got together from the egg and the spermatozoa in the womb. Whatever happened, it doesn't matter to me. All I know is that my personality is feminine, quite a bit of my body if more feminine than masculine and I just happen to feel how I feel. Mysogyny? Try finding a job as a sissy guy. Women can have short hair but guys can't. Women can wear feminine jewelry or even masculine jewelry but guys can't. Even in the military when I was in, women could have earings but so called men couldn't so my holes closed back up and had to peirce them again when I got out and women could wear nail polish but I couldn't. I mean seriously? My hair now don't reach my collar but when I was in the Army it would have been a big no no just because its a fucking blunt bob. Oh BTW when I joined women could have long hair or get a bob sort of like I got now but I had to have my fucking head shaved like I was in a concentration camp. And like I said about the peirced ears, I had to repeirce them after. Not to mentin that I had to totally hide my sexual preference when my 2nd CO was a lesbian and was seen frequently with her girlfriend off post. OMFG If I would have gotten caught with my Korean boyfriends (too scared to have american boyfriends) I would have been discharged. I had to take my desires way offpost. I am not trying to argue a point that much Taka but try to see it from our side. I love and cherish my femininity. I don't see it as mysogony as much as cis women have a much larger outlet for their self expression. I can't get an office job with my long hair and peirced ears and I will not bow down and give either one up. But women in an office can have short or long hair. OK so what is the difference bewteen shorts and skirts? Both show your legs. So I should be able to wear shorts in an office when cis women can wear skirts? It don't work like that though. We want to talk about equality? Let's talk about true equality. Not just trans but cis too. If women can have long hair then men should have the same liberty. If women can wear skirts and be professional then cis men should have the same liberty to bear thier legs and be cooler and comfortable. But in a professional setting when the feminists are yelling foul, cis men are not nearly able to be self expressive and lenient with the dress code. I can't have long hair and wear what I want in a "normal job". I didn't fucking choose to be male but I want to be able to express my self and be comfortable. And yes I have walked in high heels, wore skirts and panties, thongs even and find them more comfortable than boxers and Khakies or a suit and tie. I do not find skirts uncomfrotable especially with bare legs. They are a hell of a lot more comfortable and freerer than dresspants. And who ever though of a fucking tie anyway? To me its kind of resembles a noose. So this is constatly in my mind. Did society make us all sex slaves and slaves afraid of being hanged (yeas hanged is the actual act after hanging someone)? jsut think about it. Society does suck but not in a good way. I mean for all my sisters out there that choose not to live by the rules of society, be a proud shemale. I am. If it is derogatory then fuck it. At least we don't live by society's rules and we will own the description and it will eventually be respected. What is a woman to most men in a bar? What is a woman on TV in a Victoria's Secret commmercial? Beer commercials? A sex object but there are Cellphone Commercials? It is about looks and sex or in a lesser capacity, family life. So no I don't think I am really missing the point Taka. I think I get the point. Sex sells and being MTF it is getting us in the spotlight to people that are curious. As for FTM we have Buck Angel and a couple of others but lesbians it seems are cool. Watch Jerry Springer when it comes to lesbians and everyone chants, "WE LOVE LESBIANS" but no one chants, "WE LOVE TRANNYS". But there is one industry that we are loved in though adn it ain't television or movies or anything else other than porn. Yeah, the shows I am Cait and I am Jazz are on TV but look what that gets them. I am Cait I do not watch because its just another Kardasian show but I do watch Jazz when she is on and wish the hell I had parents like she does. But she is putting herself out there for the world and gets shit for it. A lot of good but some bad but it only takes one asshole though. And we face a lot of those. "feminism, the sort that fights for equal worth rather than a society ruled by women, still has a very long way to go. men still see women as objects with less intelligence, who are unable to make good decisions without the help of a man." Quoted from you. Really Taka? In a time when women CEOs are in charge of major corporations? When there are as many women bosses than men? Femininity actually rules and effects how men think. I have seen how guys act around other guys and how they act around women and it is two totally different animals. I think men make decisions based on their own egos and what women will think of them and their strength. Most households in the US the women are the budgeters and the men just go with it so no. I personally can squeeze a dime out of a nickel if need be. It sux because my guy has me on his checking account and I have my own without his name for my business. I would never screw him over though.

you were missing the other point then. and i would never buy your opinion on common cis guys' world view because... you aren't really one. but i do see that you have quite a lot of good points about your own kind of person.
but this mispgyny thing is real, and you'll see it a lot where i live, as long as you're taken for a "real" woman.
a man will get the job before me, simply because he's a man. i had better qualifications, if you ask people who know us both well.
a man will express his doubt that my little female ensemble has the ability to choose appropriate music for a birthday party when he hears us playing something else during rehearsal. it would never habe happened with a single man (or at least very butch lesbian) in the ensemble.
by not pretending to be manlier than we are, we are treated like less intelligent, our opinions are taken less seriously. we have to act like men if we want to get anywhere near the top. just because of the boobs.
if that isn't misogyny...
sorry, it's not the kind of thing i normally notice. but when women point out how differently they are treated, i see so much of it.
of course it can go the other way too. misandry exists as well. but that's not weird at all, for who would like the sort of people who view women as something to rule over? and there are way too many of those sorts of men.
good thing i'm way outside the binary. except when i'm treated as a woman. that only infuriates me. don't ever try to tell me how to put together a good cupboard, i know that better than most men.

Your right. All I really know is trans or a guy that isn't quite a real man or something is just not right about him because he don't have a buzzcut and so on. Well I got somewhat noticeable boobs. Look I know how it feels because I am.... different???? I don't know what the Fuck. I am definitely not male and not female either. So its really hard for me to find a real job. I hear a lot of shit like get a haircut and we will hire you. I say thank you for your time but no thanks. The company that I have some of my trucks leased to wanted me to take over their safety department becaus I am not scared to call the Feds or challenge them when I think they are wrong. First damn thing I heard was you need to get a haircut. No thanks. I am sick of the sum bitches calling me asking me questions and I am going to start charging them consultation fees. I know different countries have different views but in the states I have had women bosses and men bosses and the women bosses made the same amount because I have talked with both. Not really bosses though. More like colegues since I am an independent contractor. This is something I never understood but so many people open up to me about stuff that don't even pertain to me. Maybe I need to start charging therapist's fees.

people tell me things too. it might be because we don't judge people as harshly, probably shows. and i won't dye my hair any other color than the current rainbow either. it suits me, and the kids will love it when school starts again.

Rainbow? At least you're representing. You may be right about the approachable thing though. I actually have a tiny touch of social anxiety, believe it or not, and it seems that people are always getting too close for my comfort levels. Standing in line with total strangers is what bothers me the most when they get too close and invade my personal space. Its not so bad if I know the person but some people get so close that I can actually feel their body heat. But on the bright side though, I must have exceptional body hygienic habits. But seriously though. You know me and you know how crazy some of my ideas are but I think a lot of this stuff is on deeper subconscious levels. All the people that I work with and communicate with are women and I know exactly what each one of them think of one another. I seem to be just girl the way they talk to me. They also tell other women the same stuff they tell me but the guys they deal with know nothing. When I do drive and relieve a driver I am treated more like a woman then a man. Yes I do wear women's jeans because I hate the chafing that men's jeans cause plus they do not fit right anyway. But due to different Safety departments even women have to dress like men. No sleeveless shirts, you have to wear long pants and steel toe boots. Not to mention most of the time hard hats and safety glasses. It may be the hair, my scent, the way I act or body type. It may also be pheromones or subconscious cues. But men help me like they do the women drivers when I don't even need or want the help, but I have to admit its kind of nice though. Also a little reassuring maybe. Maybe even makes me a little more confident to take things farther? I don't know what it is but I really wish I did though.

it's most likely on the subconscious side of communication. doesn't necessarily have to do with scents, seems tobe more about facial expressions and the less overt body language. some butch women are treated like men (by men), and all women who smile politely to customers are hit on by idiots. you probably also have a soft look to you that makes people forget that you "should" have been sorted with men, when you also come off as less masculine.
i look very soft, and act mellow. idiots how now idea how much i really want to kill them in horrible ways, when i smile politely as i try to decline their stupid propositioning. would of course be possible to act differently, but i don't see why i should change my body language just so idiots don't need to learn that a no actually means no.
i also used to have quite a bit of social anxieties, but they disappeared when i started using that t gel. it's incredibly weird to notice, but i like it a lot. never had a reason to be afraid, so it's not a feeling i'll miss.

Pheromones aren't about scent as much as chemicals and how the olfactory senses subconsciously process them in the brain. Then it turns into a physiological reaction to those chemical subtleties. Certain scents can illicit attraction but pheromones are a little different because they are basically scentless in a physical sense. But I think we both make good points about it being totally subconscious though. Body language, facial expressions, pheromones and all that I believe have an effect on how people react to you on levels most people can't even understand. But my social anxiety actually stems from my introverted personality. Yeah I know because it sounds like bullshit coming from me but I'm actually an introvert instead of an extrovert personality wise. I just learned to fake it really good. I am no less uncomfortable around large groups of people but I learned to hide it. My discovery of THC in my teens helped me really good. It actually allowed me to relax enough to laugh, socialize and talk with others and sort of fit in somewhat. I realized that I didn't need pot and could just fake it and get the same reactions from others but I'm not nearly as comfortable inside though. I guess it is just one more thing I had to learn to live with and accept. Now the only time I feel really uncomfortable is when someone I don't know invades my personal space or stands too close to me in line waiting to check out or order food or whatever.
