Can you be male, female, neither, or both? Pushing the boundaries of gender ID All three identify as nonbinary, or a gender other than strictly male or female. And all three might change how they identify from day to day, or even moment to moment.
More commonly, they might be called "genderqueer," "agender" or "gender fluid." Whereas transgender people typically identify differently than their assigned gender at birth, nonbinary people often are not concrete.

This maybe a controversial reply but I don't really think it is though. Subconsciously I think that we as humans are naturally non binary in gender identity. Some females love football and some males love clothes and fashions. Some females have more men dominated careers like driving trucks and running heavy equipment and some males have more women dominated careers like cosmetology and or owning flower shops and or anything else. These are cis people even. I really think the problem lies with gender being so tied to sexual organs. So a man that loves doing hair and makeup but is totally straight with a wife or girlfriend is still cis and straight but if I did that job I would be the stereotypical "tranny" or gay guy that does hair since I like the men or wear makeup or identify more as female. And a woman that operates heavy equipment that is straight is just a woman that operates heavy equipment and cis wearing a pony tail and wearing women's clothing but if that same woman wears guy's clothes, has a guy's hairstyle and likes women then she is seen as a lesbian. So I would be a stereotype and my latter example would be a stereotype but the previous examples could be construed as non binary gender roles even though they are cis. I don't believe anyone is concrete. I think its all an illusion depending on the innie or outie you have, your sexual orientation, your presentation and so on. Other than that I think gender especially gender roles are interchangeable. I think being trans we embrace the gender we are most comfortable and drawn toward. Being non binary is a mixture of the two and going back and forth between the two, male and female or a combination of both at the same time. I believe being cis is identifying most with what you have between your legs and the opposite what is between someone else's legs that you are attracted too. Yes I know most women are in female dominated jobs and most men are in male dominated jobs but there are those few cis people that are drawn and enjoy more "non binary" roles. Not just to prove anything but because they truly enjoy it. And I believe for everyone that goes against the grain there are quite a few more that don't have the guts to go against the images. So they hide and secretly wish. I think most people can deal with it because they are so secure in their Gender Identity being tied with their genetalia. But we aren't so bound to ours. I mean I really don't have any idea what the hell I am. Male or female? Female or male? If I am a male then nature played a cruel joke with an itty bitty penis and small boobs. If I am female then nature played a cruel joke by having a penis and itty bitty titties. I don't even want to mention the freakin' body hair that I have to get rid of. But I am lucky because I have little boobs and a small outie and can see from both sides but I am starting to see more from the female side though but haven't forgotten the male side though that I have experienced throughout my life. Most people go through life with blinders on. We don't. At the risk of being stereotypical in a funny way, when we get to the gates of Heaven and St. Peter asks us why we deserve to be there and what we have done. We just say we have lived both lives simultaneously. If that doesn't justify going through hell on earth I don't know what does.
