Based on Patty's comment in hrt dancing, what are your transition goals?
Personally I am right where I want to be, and want to stay this way, except for getting another five years of feminization out of my hormones, and keeping these levels for the foreseeable future, right into retirement and beyond.
With no operations. Just hormone full mtf body transition and socially genderqueer.
Found the sweet spot :-)
What's yours?

Pretty much the same place I have been for several years. Retirement is good, every day is Saturday!

No goals. Actually have been giving some thought to stopping HRT sometime this summer, maybe sooner, maybe later. Depends on what the fall might bring. Might be the year to move to somewhere tropical and off the grid. I don't think I can take another winter, why spend all these months basically hiding indoors? I have grown to absolutely hate the cold, the snow, the cold, the snow, the cold... Getting HRT in some areas is next to impossible and just invites trouble. Not sure how I'll react though, Spiro really does take the effect that T apparently did have on me, away enough to be able to get along. But I wonder if I have also learned to just mellow out and stop hurting people...

Being I in a round about way started this, here is my answer. Six months have doctors lined up and preliminary stuff done. One year have HRT started and be full time. Two years have all name changes done this will be close.Three years SRS complete and well on into the healing cycle.Five years , trying to figure what it is between my legs and what to do with it Life is beautiful live it before you forget what it is about:) Patty

Wish I could be more than vague. I am enjoying my journey. Not sure where it will take me and I am pretty good with this. Really see myself as a work in progress and that there will be much change over the years ahead. Perhaps I am quite close to where I will find greatest peace and fulfilment but there again I may have a longer and more convoluted journey than yours, Patty. It really doesn't matter, even if it turns out to be circular and I find out that where I started out from is the right place for me, as the journey itself will have brought the change, confidence and authenticity that I seek.
One thing that I cannot countenance is inertia.
Safe travels

I have never been one to be able to look into the future very well. Just can't imagine it at all.
I imagine I will be done with laser on my face in a few more sessions so that is something! That should be less than 6 months.
At the end of the month will be able to go to higher dose of e as well, looking forward to that.
Will prolly get my hair all done up too soon, dyed and highlighted.
Wanna do ear piercings sometime too.
Gotta get my smile fixed one of these days as well... So those are short term plans..
For longer terms plans, idk.. I guess the biggie in that area is when/if I go more part time or full time. To me, that is a tricky situation and idk how it will play out.
Life's not too bad right now. There are definitely some things I need to improve and work on and quit avoiding and procrastinating and being lazy about but life's much better than before. I don't wanna mess it up.
If I thought I could, I'd go full time tomorrow. Actually, would've done years ago, lol. And ya, I know I could, but it wouldn't work out for me yet. I'd be a dude in dress, that's how others would see me and treat me and it just doesn't work for me. At all..
So here's hoping I reach male fail lol, would make things much easier, wouldn't have to think about making the switch. Making the switch for me will be tough otherwise tho..baby steps and time.

My transition related plans involve staying on T and getting top surgery as soon as I can afford it. I also want to eat healthier and exercise to get it better shape, but I consider that a health plan. I hope to graduate from my university program with honours and go on to a masters, but I don't know if I can get my gpa up high enough and/or afford to move to where I would be able to do a masters.

I'm still a work in progress. I still look far too masculine to me, and I am doing what I can to correct that. I am grateful for the the advances I have made and I think I have realistic expectations about how far I can go (at my age). I guess it's all about money now, and how much abuse my body can tolerate. My next adventure is a hair transplant.

Julie
Time is short. Health and other issues often conspire to derail long held plans. You are absolutely right to attempt everything that you have dreamt of. I need to do the same. Paris sounds perfect, but there again so does Africa.

Well, right now, it's just to keep taking my meds and learn as much as I can about all the things I didn't get to growing up. I'm slowly working on my voice, as well. I don't talk in my old voice anymore (not even accidentally), but it's not quite there yet. I am probably what some might call "soft butch", but I have some femme leanings. Just easing things in so I don't emerge one day and freak everyone out.
It's hard to really plan much when you don't have a lot of money. I really need to get electrolysis done ASAP, but I can't afford to save anything right now. Hopefully, I'll find some kind of decent income in the next couple of years, because SSI ($733 a month) just isn't enough after rent and bills. I need me a benefactor, like Magwich in Great Expectations. There's so many things I'd like to get done, and it all just seems so far away if not completely impossible.
My house mate Erica just messaged me randomly a few minutes ago saying, "you need a bra." I said, "it's finally that time, huh?" She said, "I would say so."

My house mate Erica just messaged me randomly a few minutes ago saying, "you need a bra." I said, "it's finally that time, huh?" She said, "I would say so." That's great Arin. Definitely another milestone point. I know how that goes for money reasons I haven't cleared my back yet it's the one area that is being stubborn despite my being on hormones 6 months on the 20th. That's the thing I was going to start electro on April 30 thinking I had over a year to get things done and now realize I may have a lot less time than I thought to get one area cleared via Electro plus the fact my appointment on April 30 won't work since I see the second therapist on the April 30 to finish up so I have both letters before going down to Scottsdale, AZ. Very cool Arin! Mariah, Judging from the dark hair follicles you were sporting on your face awhile back I would think that electro is a pretty tedious way to go, you might consider laser for your back as it works well on dark hair, electro for blonde or grey hair is a necessity. So you're planning to see Toby Meltzer for SRS?

Shan, I will take a current pic before shaving tomorrow and you will see the worst of the black left is the mustache area. The longer part of working on my face will be the other colored hairs that remain. Mariah Awww come on, I cant be the only exotic around here.... oh yeah. Ativan... big time exotic. And cute.
