There is so much wrong with this quote that I have to rant about this for a bit. Now I'm aware that the supplied photo is acting as if there's only the gender binary (male & female), which is an issue of itself but not going to go into that now. Throw in the transgender and non-binary communities, this "Misandry irritates. Misogyny kills" takes on a different tone. Because I assure you, misandry kills. Transwomen (yes, I know they are not men, however, cis-men will view them as men if they don't have passing privilege), AMAB transfeminine, femboys and anyone who has a male body but their identity/expression is anything but heterosexual cis-male, I assure you, misandry does not irritate like a mosquito bite, misandry kills. People hate "men in dresses" because it's perceived to be shameful against masculinity to dress feminine, to act anything other than the cis-male stereotype. Just today, I received a comment on my Agender Femboy video, "wtf faggot" - it was actually funny because it was clear the person didn't even watch my video, just reacted at the title and thumbnail, because if they watched my video, the first thing they would see is my written disclaimer that I'm female-to-male transgender. Can we talk about feminine men who are transitioning to female in order to feel comfortable in their feminine expression, who also transition to avoid physical violence that is common against feminine men, rather than the fact they transition to feel like the women they are inside? I am seeing this growing trend lately and it's concerning that people will change their sex, go through the entire transition process in order to feel accepted into society as female because they know they won't ever be accepted in society as the feminine men they are. Society has to change, not the feminine men themselves. There are male victims, most are too ashamed to come forward due to trauma and tears being signs of weakness and as men, being weak is the last thing they want to be perceived as. So no, misandry doesn't irritate. Misandry can kill. It's subtle but it is there and it shouldn't be downplayed as inferior to misogyny. Both have the capability to escalate to violence and death.

I hit like because it is such and eye opening video. I don't really like it though or the circumstances at least. There have been female killers throughout history that have killed their mates. There have been male killers that have killed their mates too.
OK so I don't want to sound like a feminist but why are women perceived as so weak enough not to protect themselves and men so strong as to be able to protect themselves. Well nature has provided men with more strength way back when through evolution but now days, not so much.
What disgusts me is that everyone was laughing when the man was getting his ass beaten but the woman gets touched everyone stands up and wants to fight him.

the problem here is that if you want to stop a woman from abusing, you'd have to be a woman. and notice how it's only men who try to stop a man from abusing, i wonder what the other women were really thinking...
if a fear of physical contact with men could be called misandry, then it's misandry that kills trans women. simply blaming everything on misogyny doesn't seem very right.

I have seen some women stand up to assholes that were abusing their girlfriends or wives. I know what the other women were thinking. Pull the gun from your purse and shoot the MFer. Or pull the tazer and really screw him up or maybe a little bear spray in the eyes would make him behave a little better or at least long enough to get away. Misandry or misogyny? I don't really care. I have a fear of ignorant assholes. I am a transwoman and have no fear of contact with men. Just a fear of encountering an ignorant asshole.

This is what I live in fear of. Every moment is suspense - will they find out I'm not a man? Will they turn on me?
Thank you for sharing this.

You may be surprised at how many will stand up for us. But be like Cinderella because after midnight nothing good ever happens. Unless you are in the right area of course.
