Staunch Republican Caitlyn came up against some tough opposition from her pals during a trip to raise awareness for LGBT issues
Caitlyn felt the wrath of her transgender friends as they discussed politics on I Am Cait.
Caitlyn, who previously revealed she does not support gay marriage, was slammed for her conservative views during a trip to raise awareness of LGBT issues.
In a preview for the new series, the 65-year-old former Olympian is seen is a tense stand-off with pals over transgender rights.
In a heated exchange, Caitlyn tells a group of friends: "We're not going there," as she refuses to back down.
"We are going there, that's why we are on this trip," one pal says, leaning forward and waving a newspaper around.
Explaining her standpoint Caitlyn says: "Sometimes these girls think that now that I've transitioned that everything has to change.
"'You can't be conservative anymore. You have to be a liberal.

"No, I don't believe that. I think I can keep all of my views the same cause I feel in my heart that's the best way to go."
Speaking to the Today show, Caitlyn admitted the scenes were "tough" to film.
She said: "The politics was tough on the bus. I sit on the Republican side, and when we do get a candidate, I certainly will talk to them.
"I admit that the Democrats, as far as trans issues, are better than the Republicans."
The reality star recently admitted she gets more flack for being a conservative Republican than being transgender.
Last year Caitlyn had a tense stand-off with talk show host Ellen DeGeneres - who is married to actress Portia de Rossi - over the issue of gay marriage.
During an awkward interview Cait said she didn't really "get" same sex marriage.
She later backtracked on her comments, saying she had a change of heart and realised "everyone should be able to marry the person they love".
