It's too bad that we even have to engage in these conversations, because although many people refuse to believe it including the pseudo-Christians, human rights are innate! We are born with human rights and they do not emanate from government, not now or ever! Human rights emanate from God or whatever one prefers to call the Highest Power that created and controls the Universe. This is not intended to be a basic bible course, but it is what it is and just as real as your gender ID is real to you personally. Unfortunately due to the corrupt nature of mankind, we are stuck with others forever trying to lord it over and legislating us into a box of their creation.
