It's fascinating how words and phrases can be interpreted in different ways. Those interpretations will always depend on one's state of mind and whatever wisdom the person has accrued over the years.
A defensive nature will see one meaning and react accordingly. A more curious nature will initially see one meaning, but then inquire as to the meaning the author intended. The nature of the wise person will often see very clearly the intended meaning, and then possibly provide that insight for those who are too ready to attack or condemn.
Which one are you? Do you jump to conclusions without inquiry, or do you allow yourself to see between the lines?

The art of the written word...oh the ways it can be used, cut, heal, love or shred, as the images reflect through the waterfalls of the mind. Some words reach, some fall to the rocks below.
But the craftfolk of music, dance, imagery and emotion, they are treasures, some open mouths of the grave, some stairways to heaven, some rocks, some wind. And some is magic, glimpses of other worlds, of another side of the heartjewel, reflections of truth and love.
May your words be incense on a summer night, the ambiance of satin and of dishes in the bed, a bottle by your pillow and two glasses by your side, testimonials of the prelude to a kiss. Clothes scattered and passions unleashed, the joy of your trans nature's carrying you to heights of glory, your gorgeous hearts filled with the revels of the night.
New days dawn,,transformation and dreams, as slowly, we become what we were always meant to be.
Happy.

i like to read older literature, because of all the symbolism and the allusions. have you read hamsun's "growth of the soil"? or "master and margarita"? they're quite magical works, because of the symbolism used. there's so much of it, that the former gained a prize, while the latter was banned.
actually, that growth of the soil isn't really all that great. just a very solid piece of handicraft.
words have power. what has been spoken cannot be taken back. what has been written will last forever. unless you burn the library of alexandria. what a terrible crime mankind has committed, and even more than just once.

So true, a concept that clearly isn't understood by many here on the North American continent. If someone were to call another person "Pig" from any other country then it is taken seriously as one of the most hurtful of insults, and yet people sling words like that around here with casual indifference not realizing that such words can be an arrow in someone else's heart.
