Great thread, Trinity! I will join in
Goals:
Exercise - Push-ups, crunches, squats, leg raises, mountain climber & jumping jacks. Throw in some dancing too, why not!
Food - Keep food portions small (e.g. on a desert plate)
Snacks - Eat fruit in-between classes with 30 min breaks.
Minimise - Eating out during 30 min class breaks
Minimise - Diet Coke. Have been drinking it since I was a child, not looking forward to caffeine withdrawal, will cut down slowly over time.
Reduce stress and anxiety - Pat kitties, have a warm bathtub with lit candles, do some drawing, play games, blogging or make/watch YouTube videos.
Started today. Kept food portions small, ate fruit during the day, had a healthy dinner, drank less Diet Coke than I normally do, patted kitties, watched some Youtube videos of UpperCaseCHASE1 when he decided to eat healthy and start exercising, very motivational. I will do my exercises before I go to bed That way, I can enjoy the burn and fall into a slumber from the exhaustion as I have always had trouble falling asleep at night.

dailies...?
well, i'll try to write at least two pages a day of that story which nobody seems too interested in reading.
unless something extraordinary happens, like visiting my dad. it's nice to take a break from the temptations that my laptop manages to bring.

I'm going to try kicking soft drinks & sweet tea out of my diet. Far too much of it. Need to drink more water. Also: exercising more, eating milder portions in general.

I think I'm gonna try to start watching what I eat more, and try to exercise more! I'm gonna give myself July 1st as my starting date when I strict down on it. For today & tomorrow I'll try to get in mind frame for my new goal, but be lenient on myself and let myself enjoy whatevs when I can haha Also maybe I'll try to tan because my sunburns from Albany & NYC Pride have turned to tans and I'm soooo unbalanced now I look really bads. Hmm maybe I could find an open field somewhere where not many people around & tan in just a jockstrap, or secretly nude to get a more even one haha

Just did 2.4km bike ride around my local area. I meant to do 2km but ended up doing 2.4km without realising it. I'm OK with this. Hoping to keep up this active routine, will switch it out with swimming or dancing to dance workout videos

Wednesday 3rd January 2018 I did 1.5km to Altone Park (local gym/pool leisure centre) I spent 1 hour and 30 minutes swimming I did 1.4km back home from Altone Park (a different route from before) Total distance: 2.9km
Thursday 4th January 2018 Today was rest day. My whole body was aching Wednesday night and still felt tender in the morning.
Friday 5th January 2018 I ate carbs for lunch and since there was a lot of sitting down today (as an intern at City of Swan, graphic designers just gotta plop in front of the computer and work away lol) I did 4.2km ride today to combat the carbs I ate for lunch and make up for being sedentary at work.
I must say, I'm really enjoying riding. It allows me to enjoy the breeze flowing through me, people-watch, it's intoxicating to see how my stamina is increasing the more I do it. I rarely take as many breaks to catch my breath (when I do this, I just walk while pushing my bike) as I did when I first started. On my first ride of 2.4km, I stopped 6 times, on today's run, I only stopped 2 times.
First ride on 1st January 2018 Distance: 2.4km Elevation gain: 31m Time: 18 minutes Avg Speed: 7.8 km/h Max Speed: 15.5 km/h
Today's ride on 5th January 2018 Distance: 4.2 km Elevation gain: 42m Time: 27 minutes Avg Speed: 9.2 km/h Max Speed: 17.3 km/h

7th January - I didn't do a bike ride as I did exercise by helping mum clean windows.
8th January - I didn't do a bike ride either but did lots of walking in the city... about 4.8km walking
9th January - I got back into riding routine and did 4km evening ride.

I did 3km riding today, couldn't push myself to do 4km, I felt too exhausted. I think it's because I pushed myself doing the 4km ride yesterday after not consistently cycling for a few days, I should've done 2km, 3km and 4km to work myself up to it again.
Trial and error, it's all a part of the process

Yesterday, I did 3.2km evening ride. I had a sore ankle from helping mum clean the windows the previous day at her job and didn't feel up to riding. But... I knew I would feel even more shit if I didn't. I pushed myself to do it and I'm glad I did. I was originally going to do 2km just as a warm-up but ended up doing 3.2km I'm going to look into buying fitness clothes just for riding (leggings and tank top) as I don't want to wear my only good shorts and t-shirt that fit me at this size for fitness as well as going out. UPDATE: I ended up getting some fitness clothes, yay! They ran out of full-length leggings in my size so I got bike shorts and tank top! And a new helmet as my original helmet wasn't keeping my head cool enough, in fact, I was overheating in the head area. Super excited to wear my fitness clothing and new helmet on my evening ride tonight I got womens size 18 tank top and womens size 20 bike shorts - mainly because they are more comfortable in the right areas. It will be interesting to see how my body shrinks over the year and what size I end up being! I did 2.5km ride today. I couldn't do more, I was exhausted. I'd reached 2.2 and was already tired but wanted to hit 2.5km so it wasn't mid way between 2km and 2.5km. Edited: Also, to add... yesterday, I started strictly drinking just water. I had drank Diet Coke since I was a child, the last 3-4 months, I switched to Coke No Sugar. I'm kicking my soda and caffeine habit and drinking water.
