Trinidad Colorado? Or the country? I remember when Trinidad Colorado was referred to as Tranny Town in the early 90's because they had a surgeon there that specialized in SRS. Now I think it may be Denver but... That was a long time ago. While driving a truck, there is a truckstop that I used to stop at on I 25 in Trinidad Co. I never got that out of my mind but it was one of the most quiet, politest towns that I ever went through many times. A lot of the locals visited the truckstop and while sitting to pee, I would hear a knock instead of an eye peering through the spaces of the stall. So if anything we are polite at least. I just wish I would have had more time to spend in the town. I was always pushed for time going through there but I should have laid over at least once and checked out the nightlife. Pretty town too. The country. I got talked into a cruise and then it was just possible to fly to Port of Spain where my friend has a free place to stay. So that's the plan. I used to live in Denver but never made it south to Trinidad. Sounds like a fun place. Well Ming. I don't know about a fun place because I never had too much time. A normal place? Most definitely. A place that we can all feel normal? Possibly.

Brows are dialed in nice. I need total artistic control of the cut. Cut it feminine and off the collar back, sharp angle sides down the cheekbones, longish on top to eyebrow level. Back its ny heavy guy. Forward it becomes sh'e. All of it is me. OK so Trinity. That cut you have in your avatar is screaming femme to me. Shorter would still scream femme to me. Why do you want to be a guy anyway? So you should be floating back and forth right? Long hair is more manly, even Samson in the biblical story got his strength from his long hair. When Delighla got him drunk and cut his hair he lost his strength. Just because the Roman Emperor liked bowl cuts don't make you any more or less of a man or woman. Christ had long hair. The greatest fear of the Roman Empire, the Barbarians, had long hair. In all honesty though and with all the love I have for you and everyone else here, express your true self. You want short hair in the way of an A line bob then cool. You want "Betty Bangs" then cool too. You want to grow that shit to your butt then cool. If you want to get an asymmetrical cut, just remember you have to live with it. But it is just hair and will grow back. But sometimes we can't all be supermodels. But it will grow back. To me it would be devastating. Trin. You are an individual. You have your own rights and if others can't live with it then I am so sorry. But first and foremost you should decide your own look. If anyone else can't handle that then that is their problem and not yours.

Trinity Well all I can do dear is give you my own experiences. When I was younger I had long hair and got soooooooo fucccckkkkiing tired of a bunch or pseudo men telling me I needed to get a haircut. Bot bosses wanted to et it on with me and I was a little more picky than a fat has been in University football. But with al his "education" he worked at a fucking lumberyard. the big boss hit on me and when I refused his advances that is when I got told I needed a fucking haircut and then ended up getting laid off eventually. I'm not pissed because it actually gave me a scencee to broaden my horizons. So I moved to Mountain Home and eventually to meet the love of my life in Hardy. I fucked that up and then moved to LA and then came back home and joined the military. Big mistake. OMG the haircut was the worst and most traumatic experience that I ever experienced in my life. Would I do it all over again? NO. Hell hon, look at Albert Einstein. Hair don't mean shit to no one but you. Einstein had the wildest hair I have ever seen and I have been in a lot of metal bands so.... just sayin' and Einstein was a genius. E=mc2 was a simplification of a much more complex equation. But I hate math. I do love psychology though but that isn't as much about math though. Damn I am such a bitch. I can understand theoretical physics without the math involved. I understand the multiverse theories in the way of psychology which is borderline parapsychology and most mainstream scientists can't grasp. Look hon. You hair don't define you or your family. It is more like "Linus' Blanket" which is something that you grasp on to for security. How you define yourself is up to you and I will never judge. But I will say only one thing and that is to exert your individuality. Your individuality is at your core. That is who you are and let no one take that away from you. Shit I said too much. Way too much. You may not like what I have to say Trinity. It ain't pretty and wrapped in a pink bow. If you want to know then ask but I won't say anything here. Like I said, fake friends will tell you what you want to hear. ral friend will tell you the stuff you may not want to hear.

And i am that daughter and that father, one and the same, and i hate what was done to my kids, and to me. Ive seen more than enough cruelty in this life. Its why i love so deeply and so fiercely. Love ya you crazy witch bitch... Trinity So screw it Trin. Wear you hair the way you want and if others can't handle it then... well you know what I would tell them and it ain't nothin' nice. Politely maybe though . I really hate to tell you this hon but who we are in bed is who we really are. That is the most primordial part of ourselves. That is the basic down in the dirt root part of ourselves. I came to grips with this early. I like being on my back with my legs open whether girl or guy on top of me. call it whatever but even with a woman I would tather them screw me than the other way around. Yeah. acording to Sigmund Frued, I may be really messed up but according to Jung, I am more or less objectifying myself to who I am inside. So you are psychic? So tell me something about me. Please because I need answers from an outsied source. I can tell you shit about me that I am not afraid to say but not on the open forum though. But I'm not psychic though but maybe psychotic. I mean who else would have the guts to investigate and take on demonolgical phenomona. Me. I'm not scared. I'm not shaken and not rattled. I have caught EVPs that were non human. I have caught EVPs that told me I was going to hell with everyone else. I did go back to the same location and let them know that at least I would be in good company at least. I guess what I'm trying to say is never be afraid. Parnormal, supernatural or anything else. Hell I have challanged voodoo curses and satanic curses and all the people are alive an weel today and a ew are even higher ecchlon in society than I am. I don't do it for a Television show or anything else but may one day write a book whoug names. I dobt anyone would read it though, but that is not the reason I do what I do. I do what I do because I really care and really want to help someone. I could give a less abouit monetary gains. I will never be rich and don;t care to be. If I wanted that I coul manipulate people like Swaggert or some of hte TV psychics. I mayeven have a show on TV about pranomal investigations but... I dont want that either. I would rahte help someone by either by debunkig theavtivity which is about 90 percent of the time. THe other 5 though? I find mysekf at a kiss if explanation. Oh I have a thousand and one theories but most don't care to hear them and I dont ce to repeat them. You are who you are and be totally confident in that and no one can take that away from you. No family members, other people regarldless of bosses or anyone else, stand up and proudly proclaim who you are. No one has a right over your individuality but yourself. You can be a unit of the state, society, and family should accept you non conditionally and if not then you do have other family that loves you unconditionally, or you can break the BS that we are gong through now especially if you are in the US and be anindividual. A unique individual and dicide for yourself as to who you are. This is a God given right in our own constitution of our country. Society and religious doctrins seem to have forgotten that but it is a God given right of self expression.

I feel the same - it seems trivial, but it's important in regard to identity... even beyond gender. For me, clothes are important as well because now I feel confident wearing them; shallow things perhaps, but a way to express who I am. This isn't insignificant or shallow! Hair, brows, clothes are all outward expressions of an inward knowledge. I'm wearing sheepskin boots, tight black jeans, and a grey and blue mini-dress. My hair is about shoulder length, I'm wearing jewery that was made in Africa and a ring from India. This is all a way for me to say I feel beautiful and don't you think so too. I dress eclectically because I feel that I am worth being an individual and not one of the herd. One of the remarkable things about this community, as opposed to some other trans sites, is that here it is okay to be unique. Perhaps more than okay it is encouraged. If we ever have a party somewhere in the world where we can all gather, I'm pretty sure it will be colorful and gender crazy fun. Till then, join me in Trinidad for Carnival. I'll be the crazy one wearing feathers and a Top Hat. Cheers, Ming By the way, Ming - I'm sure you look very lovely and you will look spectacular during Carnival! Have a great time! I've always admired people who are unique and follow their own rules; I'm glad I found the right forum!

I was 14 the last time I let my parents tell me how to dress and what to do with my hair. By the time I was 15 and it had grown out long enough they told me I wasn't allowed back in the house until it was cut off (which involved some shouting and a bit of light strangulation).
I spent quite a while with nowhere to live because I was rather attached to my hair! In the end, I shaved my head below the ears and wore a beany so it looked like I had a shaved head, but when I took my hat off I still had long hair. When I went back, they didn't ask where I had slept or anything about how I had got by. They just looked pissed that I was back.
I don't know what the moral of the story is, it just seemed relevant.

Yeah it is. Jamie its complicated, the psychic part. And proven. We can chat later. Lol i have an email i sent to Ativan 2 weeks before they ran into trouble that warned them of it. Just knew, its how it works. Kira i dont want to sleep alone...i have so much respect for you. Lee no worries. Just means there is better talent out there that can cut it prettier. Short or long i just need it girl. Any haircut combed straight back over the ears will look guy on me at this age. I deserve to be pretty i waited long enough. Time i get me what i want. Jamie your first comment will be a good thread. Now its christmas and im gunna get out the stockings. With my lace garter belt.

This is so screwed up on so many levels. Not on your part though Kira. The most screwed up part is that they didn't even seemed to care enough to ask how you survived. I could guess what the moral of the story is but... They are you parents and I won't speak ill about them. Relevant? You bet you booty. It is just one of the things that we have to go through on our pathway to being our own individual. I remember cursing my mom like I was the Damien in The Omen while driving me to the barbershop for a boy's haircut when I was at least 5. I don't know why but she could have stabbed me and killed me and it wouldn't have hurt near as much. Emotionally anyway. That to me was torture. I guess if you realize you are trans at such a young age and would rather have bows and berrets in your hair than wear a baseball cap then that was more abusive to me than actual physical abuse. But they didn't even know. They finally gave up the fight when I started running away when I heard the word "haircut". I still hate passing by a barbershop.

I think everyone should be allowed to wear their hair however they want. And I am glad that my parents never bothered about what I did with my hair. They always let me know if they didn’t like something and made their jokes but that was it. Furthermore I don’t see how haircuts give any evidence about ones gender. I have long hair that ends at my navel and I don’t have any intention to cut it off, the opposite actually, I’ll let it grow longer because I like my hair. However different people - be it my mum or whoever - use that as an apology to misgender me and tell me that it would happen automatically; that when they and everyone else - apparently they can speak for everyone- would look at me with my long blond hair, they’d associate me with female and therefore use the female related language for me. In my eyes this isn’t a valid excuse; it is no excuse and argument at all. I suggested for them to take a look into the metal scene and back through history and after that they should tell me again that long hair equals female. I like my hair and I won’t cut it, no matter what they say. Additionally short hair isn’t exactly useful for headbanging ...

I went to the unisex place. They told me they could do it. I waited an hour. They told me they cant do it. Turned me away. Couldnt do andro or femme on a guy. I'll either cut my own or find a transitioning hairdresser. At least they didnt f it up. I hate to say this but i was really upset, near tears. I wanted my girl haircut so i could be pretty and pass better on the trains. Had a bad feeling, should have followed that. What? Why? Very odd. I'm sorry they acted this way towards you. Ok so i went to a unisex beauty salon in a different neihhborhood. Much different reaction. Knew i was trans the minute i walked in. Heres the result. Not bad as a base. Close to the last one.
