Finally owning my body, mind, transition, social authenticity. Feels cool. Feels strong.
Thinking about all the changes in what I do now vs what I did before. Like racing, theater involvement, singing in the bars…. These things have faded. Shrink wants them to come back into focus. I think they will, but from a much different angle, another perspective.
I wonder if I can do it all transitioned.
Everything changed for me. Feel like racing, miss the g forces in the corners, need to sing again. Time is the enemy right now, lack thereof.
How about for you? Do you still do what you did, or do more or do less? Isolate? Socialize?
Did your desires to do certain things change?
One thing I know, I still crave horsepower.
I think what happens is the enormity of what we are going through takes complete focus, then once we get past that we go... what the heck... who am I now and where do I go with all this....
Thoughts?

I used to hunt with the boys for Deer, Elk, Bear and Wild Turkey and spend loads of time at the local shooting range. Haven't done any of that in years, I've lost interest.

Well, I'm not far along enough to be in post-transition, but I doubt anything will change as far as hobbies and interests. I've never done anything stereotypically male. I've always just been me with the one exception. There could be things that I begin to do that I've never considered before, and I'm eager to find out what they might be. Overall, I will just be a writer, photographer, musician and student of the mysteries. If anything, I can see myself becoming more affectionate, and I'm perfectly fine with that.

My musical interests widened slightly to include more metal, but that is more likely a normal progression for me than anything trans related and I'm only mentioning it because it changed after I started T. (I used not to like the growly thing.) I have more friends now than I did before I started transitioning, but I also started university around the same time which increased the number of people I met. I'm only mentioning because I can trace how I met most of my current friends back to meeting one friend at a TDoR thing who happened to go to my university.
