Oh gosh, politics... At one point in my life I considered myself conservative. It was during my repressed days where I felt more inclined to lash out at the things that reminded me of what I was rather than accept them, and in turn, myself. At one point I considered myself liberal. Libertarian. Then I think I was liberal again. Then I felt it wasn't a good fit and went with "liberal leanings." Now I don't even bother. There is no political label I am comfortable with, and it's starting to seem impossible to pick a single word or phrase to sum up my feelings on... well, everything. I might be extreme right or extreme left or anywhere in between depending on the issue. OMG never label yourself Pikachu. What label do I carry. None. Anyone can label me and I don't care. As long as I know myself that is all that matters. I can label myself and won't be offended if friends label me but I label myself as Zilche, Nada, and who cares really? I am who I am and free to think or feel how I want to feel. Just another label the little "r" big "R" or little 'd" or big "D" I am me. A great big MF'ing "M" Sorry my friends but good luck dealing with me.. OMG!!!! You know how many people have told me they couldn't deal with me? A lot. Badge of Honour. For sure. Sorry no effing way. I'm just a little weird.. Phiscally conservative but socially progressive. maybe just crazy. But I will own it though.

I am pretty conservative, don't belong to any party. I'm fairly liberal within reason on social issues.

Yeah, I don't like either mainstream American political party enough to identify with. Too much corruption and lying going on in both of them.

I will get the usual question of how long have I been growing my hair. Without even so much as blinking an eye, 'pretty much all my life'. i get that as well. As for "s..t that cis folk say" that really bothers me, is when LGB sociology university and college teachers tell me that non-binary genders has no basis in reality. I have seen 3 separate cases where different instructors, cis-gender and gay, try to use their professional credentials to discredit non-binary gender identity. they claim that it is only "snowflake" argument that has no basis and that they will not accept our existence. for some reason, these things said hurts more than others. whisper.

if non-binary doesn't exist, then neither do xx males, xy females, xxy, xyy and all other forms of intersex. if i were a biology teacher, i'd fail them for ridiculous arguments with no foundation in reality.
or are they going to try and convince an australian that black swans don't exist?

Generally that crowd spends an inordinate amount of time laughing up their self-righteous sleeves about people with gender issues and have a hard time differentiating between gender and sexual preferences in their own minds. For the sake of an argument I'd be tempted to counter that by asking them to prove their LGB status is a born condition rather than just a deviant sexual preference. Of course you'll get a failing grade because these intelligent pinheads refuse to deal with a challenge to the established LGB mantra.
