I dont present as me all the time.
Sometimes I present as all girl, many times I present as a transperson. Passing as a girl, but not one, easily read, and dont mind that. Dressed andro.
Because of boundary constraints related to marriage, I cannot leave the house in the presentation I am likely to end up in.
Many times I present as a guy with my hair combed back.
I get a base clothing, and makeup and jewelry go on in the car. Sometimes the clothes get put on later, in a bathroom, like this week, when I used the bathroom to fully transition to woman in public.
I know Im nb, but its an appropriate thread.
Do you present as your transitioned gender, all the time, or do you present in other ways? Do you feel complete as your transition gender? Or is there something in the back of your mind wondering if any of it is false? (just asking, it aint false with me, just incomplete somehow).
I am a little reluctant to be on the binary threads... but I thought I'd ask the questions. Because I suspect it hurts you to present in other than your transition gender. It does not hurt me, unless I do it too long, then, there will be hard recoil, and it does hurt, rather badly, and I'd better get into a dress before I start acting out on forum, thats how it works for me. As a nonbinary I flow with who I am. As a transitioned female mtf, I had better have my time to be myself as often as possible. I have early mornings where I do exactly that.
Hair on and nails out...

I present as a guy all the time. The only times I let my gender expression fluctuate to androgynous boy/girl, is when I attend events at the LGBT or alternative nightclubs.
As to whether I present as myself all the time, that's a different story. I wish to grow my hair out, dye it silver or blue-black, to get a nose-piercing, several piercings, lose weight and look damn sexy in whatever clothes I like.
Right now, I cannot dress like my true self because society deems my true look to be of a rebel, employers turn their nose up at piercings, deeming them unprofessional. I could always work for myself, create my own business but that takes time and money.
I would be able to dress more like a trap when I have top surgery. Excited for it actually. Bras and cute matching panties for flat-chested boy? Yes please!
Please don't feel reluctant to be on binary threads, you are welcome here

I present as me all the time. My presentation and my gender are not connected and one does not change as the other does. Mind you, I currently stick with jeans and band shirts mostly. I haven't worn a skirt in a long time because I'm afraid of people making false assumptions about my personality and my gender because people are idiots who put way too much meaning in an article of clothing. I haven't worn what my mom calls "waif/punk/pirate" for awhile because I haven't finished altering my clothes yet. I have worn a pirate outfit, but have avoided it because I don't want to get stared at.

Yes, I present as me all the time, because I cannot really pull any other look anymore. Until recently, I used to think that changing and mixing small details here and there would sway the balance and affect the presentation, but personal experience shows that I cannot rely on that happening anymore.

The pirate. I think it'll look great. I'll get my friend to take a pic in the next few days and post it.
