out in the workplace...a higher standard?

It seems to me that the performance standards are set higher for us if we are presenting and out in the workplace.

Are you out, have you found this true?

And as leading edge folks for representing our people, I think we both need to be, and should be. It will shame and maybe piss off the bigots, demolishing their argument that we are crazy perverts that threaten their way of life.

Yes, it's not voiced, but I see it from some.

But they all are learning, and hatespeach is dead here.

Ya think we have a higher bar to jump? Almost ambassadors since we are few and in the cutting edge of trans freedom? Not equality, they don't see us as equals, most of them. Freedom must come first.

At least till we need to pee.

I'm taking it to the highest professional level I can.

To the customers, they read me as...dunno...I sense only curiosity. Then they decide I'm a lesbian, shrug their shoulders and move on.

It's all quite interesting.

I like it, I feel very real now.

But I'll play it to the hilt, to be an example of who we are as nonbinaries.
