Let me start off by saying that I have always been capable of having some pretty vivid dreams. Sometimes they can be nice and good, sometimes can very realistic, sometimes can be nightmares.
The vast majority of the time, I don't dream, or to put it more accurately, I don't remember dreaming. I don't wake up from a dream and don't remember it when I do wake up.
This has changed over the last 2 or so weeks though. I have been having these dreams much more often, like, every couple or days or sometimes multiple days in a row. They are usually bad..like, keeping having zombie apocalypse dreams or like last night, dreamt I was like Jason, was in some kind of like house it seems and I was murdering everyone like one at a time..was like 20 people.
The reason I am bringing this up is because I also started hrt this month, spiro the 5th and e like the 20th. I don't think I ever heard of this happening to anyone else before though, don't know/think I ever read anyone bring it up before, so was wondering if it has happened to anyone else?
I do know that I usually end have having to pee once at night now while sleeping (cursed spiro!), do wonder if that could be the cause of it, since I am waking up in my sleep, thus able to remember the dream. I have been waking up covered in sweat though too..

I have been waking up covered in sweat though too.. I don't know about the dreaming, I think we all dream and thankfully most of it is forgotten the second we open our eyes. Having to pee a lot on spire is normal as it is a diuretic and getting up at night disrupts sleep, better than having to rent a boat after flooding your bedding! Back when I was on Spiro and new into HRT I did get night sweats, it is similar to what an older woman goes through when she's in menopause because her ovaries are losing their function and her hormonal levels are changing. That corresponds what you are going through when your testes which like the woman's ovaries are beginning to lose their function and your hormonal levels are changing. Drink lots of water during the day and stay away from bananas and heavy potassium producing foods as the body tends to store potassium on Spiro and excessive potassium is not good for your health.

Oh the stuff of dreams. I paid close attention to my dreams and was elated to start seeing myself in dreams as a female a while after starting HRT. I was trained to consider dreams as a sort of rehearsal and/or decompression for our day to come or just past. Starting HRT is a big deal and you may be working through some of that drama in your sleep?
And i just can't resist; Sweet Dreams Hon

zombie apocalypse is fun. killing everybody isn't necessarily bad. i don't think of these as nightmares, they don't scare me or anything.
there is supposedly research that says men have a deeper sleep than women. likely because of hormones, ftm often sleep much better after starting hrt. lighter sleep when going the other way doesn't seem odd at all.

On paper it sounds kinda fun even to me. The planning and strategy kind of intrigues me. I do love them survivor tv shows.
I think the thing that bothers me bout it is that you could never feel safe again. Like, every time you go out could be your last. Always got to look out for zombies or they will eat you and then you become one.
I think I am scared of any kind of huge outbreak like that.

yeah, shovels are great. baseball bats work too. zombies are kinda brittle compared to living people, i'd be screwed if they were real people.

You're a "Walking Dead" fan, that's another of my favorites too! Smoosh, squish, aaaarrrgh! I can vicariously satiate my killer instinct and not get into any trouble.

I guess had my first sorta trans related dream..
In it, made an appointment to go get ears pierced. When it was time to do so, kept thinking, oh no, it is too soon, can't do this yet.
I wasn't planning on doing so for at least a few more months so good to know that my dreams agree with me. Ya, I know both guys and gals get it done, but it is something that I would never have done before. Kept basically same appearance since I was a kid lol, am actually pretty afraid to change it.
Oh, and haven't been having anymore nightmares though, thank god. Sleep is all fcked up again though...

I injected last night, its not easy to stick an inch and a half long needle into your leg and my injections are weekly and huge. Havent had any trans dreams for a while. Sometimes I get laid in them and then feel totally guilty about the dream.

Since I had been thinking about getting Simple Metoidioplasty, I had a dream I was in a pre-op appointment with a male surgeon who examined my genitals to see if I was a suitable candidate for the surgery (you have to have sufficient enough growth from T in order for the surgery result and length/girth to be satisfactory) and he praised my growth was excellent and that I was definitely a suitable candidate. I was so excited when I heard that, very, very happy!
I had an enlarged clitoris pre-T due to an intersex birth condition (most likely CAH)... I was surprised to see it looked like a transman's penis after they had been on T for a few years. Blessed, I am. Going on T made it grow bigger. I had a single erection pre-T when I was younger but holy jeez, I had even more intense erections that I could see the tiny bulge in my underwear...! I am most curious to see what my results would look like post-op but that will be years away... until then, I can dream...!

Nothing like massive hormones.
Happy for you Jayce, seems we are all getting more clarity since coming here.

We all have rather stellar dreams at times about what and where we want to be in the future. If we didn't we might lose hope of ever meeting our personal goals and aspirations, some dreams are a real gift. Love you honey!
