60's and 70's for me, without a doubt. Grew up with Ed Sullivan, Carol Burnet, Bing Crosby, all that stuff
Mostly a 70's product though, graduated in 76 from high school and it was wild and a lot of fun, but the 60's had a big impact and growing up during the vietnam war and kent state and the whole thing there, and I really miss the 60's and am heavily influenced by its music and its drive
Later in life hooking up with the Warhol folk had a big impact in NY, this was after transition, it was really awful to be trans in the 80's or 70's and I didn't go that route, could have should have but same time, might not have survived it and wouldn't have the family.
But yeah, 70s, maybe a 60s wannabe but the 60's generation actually did something about stuff and the 70's folk just benefitted from all they already accomplished.
How about you?

I'm not sure I really have much of an answer, but probably most directly the 90s, for better and for worse. But once I delved into the folk revival, the late 60s and early 70s were quite an influence too.
But then, so we're the late 70s and 80s, when I was a child, and probably the 00s too...

Speaking of the 00's, the bond flicks have sure evolved over the years, I still am jealous of Jill St John in Diamonds are Forever, my personal all time favorite.

I survived the 50's, the 60's, the 70's, the 80's, the 90's, the 00's, the 10's and now living in the 20's. I have stories to tell from each of them and as things have evolved, so have I, it's hard to say which decade is the most influential, each one of them has something major in my life. One things for sure though, I don't want to relive any of them, the good times are always the good times and the bad are the same, it's just that the good and the bad have always been influential. There are things I absolutely love from each decade, things I hate with a passion as well, maybe it was the 50's that taught me that you always have to keep moving forward, even as a kid that was drummed into me all the time. Wonder if this is the last decade that I will be in.... What a long strange trip it's been. Looking forward to it getting stranger, it always does.
