Mine for years was to hook knit things. It was my grand ma who taught me on this. From time to time I'm back and knitting. Most other times not really. And, I admit, I miss it. Want to restore this skill. Hooks and threads are waiting What was the dearest thing you always did, or have used to do, but forgot?

I used to be able to play the cello...sort of. I took lessons on it for three years, and realized I didn't have the time to devote to practicing it.
I've totally lost the knack of how to do it, but I'm hoping to work on it again someday.

I collect the boxes from all the amazon crap I buy, all folded up and stuck into the one box that is still a box. Finally had to get rid of the big box of them I had and now I have another one started, I hope to take those out to the trash as well someday. Rock tumbler for all the damn agates I keep finding in front of me while out walking. Bought the tumbler from amazon and the grit to use in them, so another box from amazon right there. This hobby stuff is easy if you let one roll into the other, I have no idea what to do with the agates, but I bet I can just throw those away too, once you see them the thrill is gone from each one. I should order a wrist rocket from amazon, I could get another box that way.

Ativan Prescribed do you always get boxes when you order from Amazon? 80% of the time I get stuff in those ugly white shipping bags. I feel better knowing I'm not the only one that collects stuff. I have 3 closets full of craft stuff that I just can't get rid of. I did throw out quite a but of yarn a while back. I'm moving in 2 months and have to start packing and that means majority of my craft stuff needs to get thrown out. Might see me ranting about that soon lol. I don't take change too well.

Do you need any boxes? I always get boxes, I know which ones fold up best to go into which box they fit in then. I don't get delivered to my door in the outback of the great white north here in the land of the windchill factor. I have to go to the PO to pick up mail and packages, they can't deliver the block and a half away, the mail is so hard to deliver, but the people who live farther out get theirs in their mail boxes... So Amazon has their right to the door prime crapola and that means to the door of the PO for me, so instead of UPSing the extra block, they dump my stuff at the PO. Because they do that, it all has to be in heavy cardboard boxes, I have put a few inside of bigger ones and flipped them over to stand on to change a light bulb. But yah, and I get most everything from them because I pay for that prime crap and the higher prices that go with it, but they are still a third of what it costs for the very same in this so called town here. I do get small things in the more bubble wrap than you need envelopes for the small stuff, but to make it easier to carry that block that is to hard for them, I order a bunch of stuff, about once or twice a week. I got this little box the other day that could have been in a bubble wrapped envelope from hell to open, but they stuck it in a box that was over ten times bigger, you just never know,, maybe they know I'm sick of folding up the boxes until I get enough to make it worthwhile to take to the dumpster. Used to be that people moving saw good boxes like these as gold, but around here, amazon is used more than the stores in town, so everybody is trying compress and fold them and wishing someone wanted boxes for something, anything, just take them before they cause more mental carnage on the trapped in winter people here, but thank god for the prime movies and that, it goes well with netflix... I'll go without food if I need to for a week to pay for it all. I got the boxes from the last monitors I bought, they came inside bigger amazon boxes so it's twice as many for those, but I need the monitors to be able to see what the world is actually like away from here. I have free boxes if anyone wants to have them shipped in a bigger amazon box...

Painting. Always loved art class, used to scribble a lot, made series of coloring one lineart in dozens of color variants for effect, adapting the details. Or doing scrap mosaics of paper, I got bags full of nice paper bits too small to make something big and too beautiful to throw away. The big painting I made for final art class was a project I really enjoyed... still got my free graphics/painting programm (it can simulate watercolors, crayons, all I could think off + editing pics like photoshop and its free) and occassional doing simple stuff with it for my RPs - but I never got to really start with it. Tho admittedly there´s a tutorial section in my pinterest where I collect all I run across

Might draw some after I get off the computer.
Drawing stuff on the computer feels too much like work.

Target shooting with a model 70 winchester made for .308 rounds. Used to burn up a lot of money doing that, but I was always better at it than anyone else that hung around there. I could have used a better scope, but then I would have to move the targets even farther and since they were just odds and ends junk, it was work sometime to lug that crap out to the hillside. But there were fences that we built for putting beer cans on of 3.2 beer, leave it in the sun most of the day and then the point was to shoot the can along the bottom and the board it sat on. Goes off like a rocket if done right, otherwise they are just spinners which is just as much fun, 22 long rifles, I used and old remington pump that is now worth a tidy sum of money, but hell if I know where it ended up. Had a colt automatic pistol. a .45 caliber that was fun to do quick draws with and just shoot up stuff. Lots of drinking and smoking pot. Sex drugs and rock n roll, harleys and bikers, bonfires and always a good time just watching the insanity of the place, always on the edge of being out of control, and thinking back, it probably was.

My main hobbies are walking, reading and listening to music. And makeup. I am using make up increasingly and getting quite good at it. I find it enjoyable and it feels creative

One of the things that happened to me was that I slowly got consumed by the things I had to deal with, and the hobbies faded away. I used to read a ton of sci fi stuff, loved it. That would be a nice thing to bring back. Since starting recovery and coming here, I got back the musician and theater things, and it helps. I honestly am not into makeup, I throw on the mascara and that's about it, it is enough to get to the mostly stealth she place I like being in when I am out stealth sh'e. Listening to music is big with me too. I have studio sound equipment, really spoiled me with listening, I want to hear everything. The latest hobby has been modifying guitars and making them really good. Thanks for bringing back the thread I'm surprised I never posted on it, I post on just about everything else lol. Too much so....

Singing. Though I never totally stopped forgot - I just discouraged myself from doing it because I got caught up in societies mind game for a long time that art was useless. And thought the only valuable things were STEM related.
