Hello everyone! I'm so excited to be a part of this community!
My name is Ollie, I'm 29, originally from California, now living in Oregon. I'm a lesbian, in a long term, long distance relationship. I have two cats that are my baby children, and I work full time in a coffee shop.
I honestly don't have very many lgbtq friends, so I'm really looking forward to making some new ones. I fall somewhere in between on the gender spectrum, and have really been questioning myself lately. I love how warm and welcoming this space seems, and felt it would be a safe space to express myself, my questions, and my true identity.
Sorry for this short novel! I can't wait to get to know all of you!

Welcome Ollie! My name is Jacey, I am AFAB non-binary who is medically transitioning to male. How do you like Oregon after living in California? OOOoh, I have cats too! I call them my babies as well haha This safe space is excellent for asking questions, expressing yourself and coming into your true identity. Many members (including myself!) have found themselves here, some are even questioning still which is perfectly normal! Feel free to ask questions, create new threads or revive old threads to kickstart discussion. Members here live in different timezones so don't fret if there are no responses for a bit, give it a few hours and the replies will flood in Kind regards, Jacey

It's nice to meet you! I really love Oregon, though I will always consider California my home. If it wasn't so expensive, I'd move back down there in a heartbeat. Yay another cat parent! What kind of kitties do you have? Thank you! Everywhere here seems so open and caring, I'm excited to fully be a part of the discussions here. Hi back and welcome! Welcome! I write long novels everywhere. Lol. I’m 29 too! I wanted to move to Oregon so bad... but even there is too expensive for us right now. Plus I don’t think I could handle all of the rainy days I hear they have. But I hear the people are pretty cool there. I also have a cat. And a dog. Everyone here is very supportive and not judgemental, so you can talk about anything. I’m sure you’ll like it here.

Welcome to the forum, Ollie! It's great to have you here.
I'm AMAB, but I consider myself a non-binary demi-girl. I don't currently have plans to transition, but maybe I can make it part of my retirement plan.
Please make yourself at home, and throw in questions and comments as often as you want. It's a very supportive community here.

The weather isn't as bad as people say, and the people are definitely cool here. But I get the expensive thing, especially the bigger cities are kind of outrageous. I so wish I could have another dog, but alas, apartment life makes it so I can't. Give your pupper a hug for me! Thank you so much for the welcome! Welcome to the forum, Ollie! Thank you so much for the welcome! Yeah, apartments make it difficult to have anything. Some cities have more pet friendly apartments than others. We're planning on going to Oklahoma soon... middle of nowhere and random state, but we know someone there and the rent is cheap (as in, plenty of apartments between $400 and $500) and plenty of the types of jobs my husband can do. Plus... almost all of the apartments allow big dogs. Which is important, since ours is 80lbs. He wouldn't pass for some of the weight limits I see in other cities... like 35lbs. lol. Oh, and it's sunny! But also hot. Not much hotter than Georgia, though.
