Ok I have a question.
One of my biggest dysphoria triggers is not filling up my bra well.
The other is being preop.
I've been wearing 36b's. Usually unlined. The cups are loose. It causes me some dysphoric feelings.
I started prgesterone last month and i think i gained a half cup. That may not sound like much to you but for me its HUGE.
I measured today.
Its a 34 inch band and 37 inches across the nipples. I picked up an inch. Yay. But i usually measure 35 bands, if i dont nreath in too derp its 34. Deep breath its 35.
I found a forgotten 34A pushup. I put it on and its the first time i actually have anything like cleavage.
Sooo...
Any suggestions on what i'm supposed to be? I think all my 36B's are incorrect.
I think maybe im a 34b. If i hit 34c...its what i was was told when i was losing it in my car and Christs voice said "Trust Me". Just a knowing..c cup.
Weird maybe but true. Old forum folk remember.... I was so high risk...
Ok. So....what the heck bra is appropriate here?
Time to get the right stuff.
Yeah its very ts mtf....but physically thats true for me.
But I live in a way ts girls couldnt begin to handle. Nonbinary ts.
Labels.
I'm just trans. Thats good enough for me.
Tips would be helpful, i dont care what gender anyone is. Jow do I get these boobs looking right in a bra?

Trying to navigate in the labyrinth that is bra sizes isn't easy. Some things I picked up over the years is that the cup change with the width so even if the letter is the same it differs in size when the width change. A new bra should always fit comfortably on the hooks at the end, if you have to hook it further it's the wrong size (unless it's an old bra then it stretches and that's what the other hooks are for).
(If you find a bra that has good fitting cups but not enough width you can sew on some extra hook band, cut off from a bra that you don't use, or buy some extra band online.)
I don't know if this helped at all :S

Thank you for the response.
It did help.
According to what I am reading, I should try an unlined 34C and see where that gets me. The 34A padded looks too small. Anything size 34 that I have looks too small for that matter.
But I fill the cup.
So, I think I just need to buy one, I have had the 36B's all the way along, and I think its not quite there.
As usual, I am in the middle, a nonbinary 35B 1/2.... figures.
I appreciate the advice. It's a big deal actually.
Male skeletal chests suck. For me.

The other relevent info is that I have the pointy kind of boob... and I guess that makes a diff in terms of what you are supposed to pick.
I had a 36B demi cup, love the cut on that, but it rides up over the boob. Which is a pretty clear indication of the wrong band I think.
Just gotta try it out.
I'm not fond of padded bras. I don't want anything that isn't real, I am not a cross dresser and I strongly dislike anything that makes me feel like that.
Besides, how is anyone gunna feel anything with an inch of fiber between your boob and your lovers hand? Or your own, as it usually has to be with me.
Best and thanks

When I used to wear bras I too wanted unpadded ones, but they are quite hard to find if you have a small chest. All bra companies seem to think that every person with a small chest wants their boobs to look bigger = pad the living hell out of those bras.

All bra companies seem to think that every person with a small chest wants their boobs to look bigger = pad the living hell out of those bras. Ahhh the old bigger is better philosophy. I prefer the middle ground. Used to be lace and sheer and unpadded back when. I'm partial to the lingerie of my decades frankly, and the 70's had great stuff across the board. I wish that style and material never ended. But sometime in the last decade it seems like they started with foam rubber barricades, might as well wear a "hands off" sign. Its worth the searches. Im in an unlined shear 36b today, darned thing is falling apart but its close. I should try a 34c. Honestly, if I dont fill that cup, the dysphoric whiplash will sting. Nut Im greatful for what i got. Couple years ago I drove everyone crazy with my obsession about how big i would get. Trans puberty ya know. The 55 year old teenager in heat. Hsppens to most of us.

I hope you find the right size, it's always a struggle. Haven't used a bra in years, but I still got them stacked away in a shoebox somewhere. Don't know why I keep them, I hate bras just in case I guess. "In case of desperate need of bra: open this old box."

LOL
I went shopping today.
Oh. My. God.
FINALLY, after 5 years of transition, I have what I am supposed to have.
I took another measurement, this time getting my mtf trans body thing out of the way, and objectively did what I was supposed to, as opposed to what I wanted to see. So I got a true measurement this time by compressing the breasts with the cloth measuring tape, and it was a 34 band and a 36 bust. The real measurement.
A year ago, it would have been 34/35. So I have some results from Progesterone.... and I am so glad for it.
I went to Walmart, out of town because I don't need people talking to my wife about it and she used to work at the local one, and I found a 34B push up and also a black and a white 34B unlined.
Tried on the pushup and it FIT.
Tried on the unlined, and there was a tiny amount of room in the cups, which my dysphoria seized on. But then I tightened the straps, the result was a lift, and the room and wrinkles went away, and it FIT. And it looks right, finally.
5 years it took me to get to a true 34B breast size, but its REAL. I have my 34B boobs, they are real boobs, they aren't fake, they aren't padding, they aren't silicone, they are ME.
And all this time I had the wrong band, and it was triggering depression in the mirror, cause all I could see was that little wrinkle that said "You aren't as big as real girls, you'll never have real girl boobs..."
I don't want to take this off, not when I am seeing it like its supposed to look.
After all these years. I'm almost 60, will be there in two months, and after all these years, I am finally getting to be whole.
Just don't look down at the crotch, right? But even that looks ok if I get the angle right, someday maybe I can get that changed, but right now, its a fantasy.
But I finally, finally, finally, have figured out my size. And there is hope, still, on progesterone, for further growth.
Thanks so much for sharing.
LOL. Bras in a shoebox. How about in the drop ceiling hidden over the tiles? I did that for decades, in the bathroom. In the ceiling, in the walls where the plumbing outlets were, I was a master at hiding my clothes.
DON'T LET THAT HAPPEN TO YOU. BE YOU. ITS NOT WORTH THE PAIN WHEN YOU REALIZED YOU WASTED YOUR LIFE.
But on the other hand, no matter how late I came out, I still have the now.
Now what am I going to do with those ten 36B's that are too big lol...
(Store them in a shoebox, in case I get to a 34C next year!)
Huge hugs, thanks Petri for sharing on this thread.
