hi everyone! my name is ollie, i'm transmasculine, non-binary, and use neutral pronouns (they/them/their)! i'm 18, but i don't feel like an adult yet. i'm super anxious about college, too. i'm almost 3 months on Testosterone (started in Sept.) besides this, i'm so happy to be a part of what seems like a wonderful, supportive community here.
i go to school and live in a rural, conservative community, and sometimes it really feels like i'm alone, though i logically know that i'm not. i hope to make some great friends on here; and if you're feeling down or upset, don't hesitate to talk to me if you need a shoulder to cry on because i love being able to help others. and remember...i love you and support you

I don't think anyone feels like an adult at 18.. don't worry about that. I'll be 29 in a couple months and still don't feel entirely like an adult, but maybe more like I'm just now starting to head in the right direction towards adulthood. Lol. College is better than high school. In high school they tell you how hard college is, but in my experience it's a lot more relaxed. The work might be harder (depending on your classes) but the environment is better. Just keep up with your work and you'll do fine. And try to do as much as you can without loans because... ugh. The less you have to pay back later, the better. I have student loan debt from when I was 17. Not fun. Anyway... I'm sure you'll like it here. Everyone is nice and not judgemental at all.

Enjoy the forum, dive right in, we have known each other a long time in here, mostly, but hopefully you will be able to engage the other newbies here. You are more than welcome. And yeah. I am the only transperson I know of in town, and its conservative, yup, know this one. I'm nonbinary transfeminine, on estrogen. Enjoy!
