The new-age movement, along with many of the ideologies that New Ageism encourages, has been popularized in the past few years, especially with rise of social media. I am all for self-empowerment, spiritual exploration and personal development, but some ideologies New Ageism preaches are misleading, false, and even dangerous. erinjanus.com/5-common-new-age-misconceptions/

But one thing you are forgetting Illuminess is that we can never judge. What is right for some right som isn't right for others. Even if it is a misconception or many it is changing other's thinking and so on. I do believe there are no rights or wrongs. The only rights are what are right for us at the time of our spiritual understanding.

The only rights are what are right for us at the time of our spiritual understanding. I don't believe in moral relativism. Sure, there are things that are right or wrong for us uniquely, when it comes to personal development, but not in the grand scheme of things. It's like this:

I think what you are calling right and wrong Illuminess is what I call good and evil. Right or wrong is subjective, good and bad is absolute. For example Catholicism is wrong for me. Buddhism fits more along my line of thinking. Not precisely but is way more closer for my perceptions and beliefs than Catholicism. Still not a perfect match but Gnosticism is the closest but there are no other Gnostics as far as I know. Neither one is right or wrong except for what the person perceives and believes. I can't disagree with what you posted but I don't see them as rights or wrongs but rather good and bad. These are absolutes. You never hurt no one. Or farther you never hurt any living thing unless it comes to kill or be killed. I have Banana Spiders outside my front door that are bigger than your fist. I leave them. I find a spider in my house then I will take it outside and let it loose. I found a Black Widow on my table on time and took her, in a jar with holes poked through the top of course, into the woods in a dark damp place. I have taken baby Copperheads into the woods and let them go. Mice? I have outside cats so they take care of that but that is food more or less. The Circle of Life. I have plenty of snakes outside but if they are poisonous then I will take them away where they can live without harm other than "The Circle".
I do believe we may think more the same but words sometimes have no meaning. It is hard to explain in black and white.
