I noticed that there were several comics shared that have or center around trans/nonbinary/genderqueer/etc. characters and I thought I'd share a few of my favorites!
Prague Race by Petra Nordlund (aka Leppu) - www,praguerace.com - a semi-satirical fantasy adventure! That involves a couple of regular (but totally awesome) humans who get sucked into an epic quest in a fantasy world! I have two words to get you excited: Trans Werewolf. (You: OMG!!! Me: I KNOW, RIGHT?!?)
Shootaround by Susanna Nousiainen (aka Suspu) (Side note, Suspu and Leppu just happen to be real-life partners! And they are a totally adorable couple.) - www.webtoons.com/en/drama/shoot-around/list?title_no=399&page=1 - A high school girls basketball team takes on the zombie apocalypse! I'm pretty sure every major character fits SOMEWHERE under the LGBTQ+ category. A pretty hilarious take on zombies. A very fun adventure for all (sans anyone who can't handle zombies stories for any reason). ^-^
Sulfur and Salt also by Suspu - www.sulfurandsalt.com - This is Suspu's new comic. I personally like it better than Shootaround so far, but it's not very far yet. So far, the story seems to be fantasy (people use a skill called "the will" which seems to be suspiciously similar to the force) and I think it might be moving towards a bit of steampunk and a clash of those two worlds/genres. Main characters are a nonbinary person, their boyfriend, and a former friend/current classmate. I'd personally ship a poly relationship between all of them, but we'll see if my hopes ever come to fruition.
Eth's Skin by Sfe R. Monster - www.eths-skin.com - A nonbinary person accidentally steals a selkie skin (yes, it really was accidental - it gets explained in the comic) and has to go on a quest to be able to give it back. The main character is accompanied by the selkie and an a-sexual...I'm not sure how to describe him...kind of a magician? Kind of a shaman? Kind of a witch doctor? Anyway, it's pretty great. One of my favorite details regarding the world building of this comic is that when someone introduces themselves, they include their preferred pronouns. (Example: Hi, I'm enbyemu. They/them. Nice to meet you.) It's a little thing, but I loved that it was included.
