Hello.
I've recently acknowledged what has been creeping up on me over the years, and that is that I am not the gender I was assigned at birth. Anatomically I am male, but "inside" I have a strong feminine streak. Being a nudist and a barefooter, I value bodily freedom, and I have been rationalising to myself that the reason I sometimes wear a skirt or a strappy top is because they allow the exposure of more of my body. But maybe there's another reason - that I need to express my feminine side. Recently I attended the Queer Spirit Festival, and it was my first real encounter with non-binary-ness in its full glory. I realised that not only were lots of the festival-goers non-binary - I was non-binary myself! And I felt so at home in non-binary company.
I'm finding it hard to settle on a pronoun for myself. I'm not a he, I'm not a she. Using "they" as a singular pronoun is functional, but I don't care for it much. Ze, zer, zerself? Zhe, zher, zherself? Dip, dips, dipself? The jury's still out...

Welcome, and nice to meet you! I wish you all the luck in the world on your journey.
I don't personally put too much energy into the labels, myself. What we are can't be forced, it just is. The names will come in time, if they need to.

Welcome !
I am a non passing transwomen. I prefer she / her but honestly it doesn't really bother me much. How is a new person supposed to know? For people I know that constantly get it wrong, I simply just correct them with a "she" or "Ma'am" or (recently) daughter (that one I love because it was also accepted by my parents. God I love them).
Pronouns are a very personal thing. Try a few out and see how you like them. But remember, down inside you are still you.
:hugs:

Serendipity "Dippy" for short Welcome to the forum! Lol I made up my own pronoun, but its accurate for me. (sh'e). But they and them suits me fine too, I just dislike he. Though I don't correct folks that use he. Just clues me in on what they are percieving. Yeah, theres a lot of freedom in being nonbinary, its a nifty life. Enjoy the forum.
