I think hrt will reduce my dysphoria and elevate my mental health. But also afraid the opposite will happen if I did not have support. I am afraid of doing this alone. I have no friends or close family members to support me.
will you recommend having hrt under These circumstances?

Do you have a LGBT support centre/group in your local area? Try to make friends. I didn't have many LGBT friends when I started because I have social anxiety but it's different now, I have more non-binary friends online (here and the local FB group) but rarely meet local NBs in my area, I'm hoping this changes soon. As for family, I can't really help with that one. I transitioned while still living at home but received zero emotional support in the beginning. I had to learn how to rely on myself the first few years. The family came around to it sorta when they saw how much happier I was, especially when one of mom's friend told me, "That's the most I've heard you speak in all the years I've known you." And she's known me since I was a baby. She immediately jumped on board after that, I think her 180 degree change really struck a chord with my mum and dad because they started to make a bigger effort with my name and pronouns. In the end, it is up to you and how you feel. You can dip your toes into the kiddie pool or decide to leap into the deep end, go with whatever suits your needs or gut instinct and reevaluate later on

I think hrt will reduce my dysphoria and elevate my mental health. But also afraid the opposite will happen if I did not have support. I am afraid of doing this alone. I have no friends or close family members to support me. will you recommend having hrt under These circumstances? Yes. Absolutely. No question, or you did already, so it will work regardless. They would seem to be almost one and the same, hrt and support, but they're not, but one can affect the other. Go for it if you think it might ease the dysphoria, you'll know almost right away if it is going to work, like a matter of a few days for most people. You don't need support to do this, but support is always a good thing and can help a lot on it's own even. If the dysphoria eases up, then it stands to reason that it could easily help with other syptoms you might be having. It's not a cure all, it is simply hrt, YMMV, what it does for dysphoria is sometimes a hit and miss thing. It can help a lot, but it might just move it around a little so that you could use some support, but that's moving forward, isn't it... If support isn't available, then having things moving forward with mental health and dysphoria might allow you to see open doors to support you can't see right now? Having support going into it is helpful, but only you are going to actually know and experience what hrt does for you, so support is limited that way. I have my own share of problems with things like depression, and hrt helped with that, it took the edge off a lot of things. I did manage to keep things under control and manageable because of it, but that's my experience. But yah, if you think it will help with dysphoria, go for it, if it works, then you'll be able to deal with other things without that getting in the way.
