Yep. But if I am playing male I have to consciously deepen it. If not then....

Depending on whom I am speaking with my voice does change. Those that have known me for years I keep it in a tone they are comfortable with, for those who know me as Patty only I shift to a higher pitch. Being I am not your average sized girl I do sound funny if it is raised to high so I am pretty much a mid range which seems to work just fine.

Omg I love that accent! *Drools and falls for it* So hot... As for me, if am all dolled up, I try to modify my voice..I think it fails miserably tho, still feel it sounds guyish . To be fair, sounds better than it used to and I don't use it enough and don't go out enough to improve it tho either...Gotta work on that! Is hardest for me to do with people who know me from before and who know what my voice sounded like, feel weird changing then, with new people, much easier, don't know me so ya, idk, makes a big diff for me.

I can't actually do a voice that sounds male, it just sounds like a woman trying to sound like a man.

I worked on it and trained it, now it passes without fail without any effort. Its a big plus for me I think. The only time I don't like it, is if I shout/call out loud. That triggers me horribly and after I shout, the way I see myself (in the mirror) nose dives really heavily and I start to spiral down. That's why I am thinking about getting a voice op done. Everyone tells me I don't need it, but that's because they don't ever hear the shouty voice or understand how it affects me. Are you thinking of Yeson? That would be my only choice if I was so driven toward a perfect female voice as I was impressed by those who have gone that route, but it is a rather huge financial commitment! There is a practitioner in the UK who does the same procedure (known as the Wendler glotoplasty). If I get approved it would be free. It's a bit of a long shot tho. I have been approved for SRS, which is awesome :-) and free :-) nhs can be good!

I can't actually do a voice that sounds male, it just sounds like a woman trying to sound like a man. So what are you actually going for with your voice? To me it sounds like it could go either way. I don't think it sounds like a woman trying to be a man or a man trying to be woman.

I'm not trying to go for anything. I'm just talking. People gender me female in person and about 75% of the time on the phone
