so sometimes i see a celebrity/youtube celebrity and go hey i wish you were _____ and when it turns out their not i get sad sometimes. sometimes my brain just wants someone who has a lot of eyes watching them to just be like me. Someone with 0 eyes watching them. Like the lgbtq+ community is not very common/easy to see as much as some other places. So if someone big is like me i feel more communitized like does anyone else do that? I mean i could understand if you said that was weird but i just don't know why i do it.

Yes, I have definitely done that. More so with characters on tv than real people though, just because I want representation (and also because there's so much queer baiting out there). I also tend to gravitate towards queer youtubers whether queer in gender or sexuality (My favourites are Living Rosa, Ash Hardell, Rose and Rosie, & ChandlerNWilson)

Actually, all of the FTMTranstastic boys are great. Stef Sanjati is great too. I think it makes sense that we want to see more LGBTQ people in the media. Personally I felt so isolated for such a long time because there were so few queer narratives in the media, and the ones that were there only fit a super narrow scope of queerness that didn't reflect my own experience at all. Exposing yourself to relatable narratives is super validating. Also- if you're looking for good queer music and you don't already know them, I super recommend that everyone checks out PWR BTTM.

There's a lot of NB's that are in the business and are surfacing now. And a lot of works being written. The political avant garde is loaded with it. Part of the resistance, and part of Resistance Theater - which is a genre now. Trans Play Festival in New York is scheduled for July. I am in it.
