I can give 2 fucks about what people think, my opinion is we are in for a tough fight over the next few years and if you think otherwise, please get your head out of the sand and look at the WHOLE view and not just from one side or another.

As for public restrooms and fitting rooms - the only thing required is that someone states that they identify as the opposite gender...they could look, sound and dress like a guy and be able to walk into a woman's restroom, supposedly unchallenged. Sorry, I am just not that trusting and I will challenge a man that follows me into a rest room or fitting room. If you are a man and identify as a woman...dress and act like one...make it so I have no idea that you are not a woman.

Most of us cant.

Every chance i get i use nongeneered bathrooms.

Im more worried about my insurance. The aca helped that, my hormones, surgery if required, preexisting gender dysphoria.

Con job, that is the only definition. Day after day it's another lie, another disappointment. I don't care if you voted for or against him. The reality is that he may be delivering on his promises but the implementation is going to hurt us so much more than anybody really understands. 

Implementing hard line deportation. Well Mexico just said that they have been working hard on stopping and deporting illegals coming from Central America. If this administration wants a hard line deportation of illegals to Mexico, Mexico doesn't have to accept non-Mexican illegals. That will put a lot of people in limbo and further put the burden on us taxpayers for something that wasn't properly thought out and only implemented on a xenophobic knee-jerk reaction. Yeah, let's not figure out a humane way to help their path to legal citizenship. Let's just throw out all non-citizens even if they are non criminals. Yes, they are "criminals" because they are here illegally but seriously? Looking for a better life and willing to work bottom of the barrel jobs just to make a life here should be embraced and helped on their road to citizenship. Yes they shouldn't be put in front of people that have already been working on legal status, but there has to be a way to help without ruining the good people that just want a better life. Isn't that what America has always been about?

Call me out for being "Boy who cries wolf", but so far everything I have thought is coming true.

Sorry "America First" is just going to fuck us in the long run and alienate all of our allies.

It's hard to believe this surprises some people. But I guess it does. Unfortunately, I've noticed with his supporters that no matter how much evidence you post, they still don't believe any of it, or cry "fake news" or just make excuses for him and his administration. And if all else fails, they point out how much worse they think Hillary is. But, idk about you, but a lot of us that didn't want Trump didn't really want Hillary either. They kind of forget that. Hillary is garbage, too, as far as I'm concerned. But Trump is doing actual damage and none of his supporters want to admit it.

I'm not afraid to admit faults in who I actually supported. Out of the choices that were given, I would have preferred Jill Stein. But she has her issues too, and I'll be the first one to point them out. What is it with Trump supporters that they see him as some sort of thing to bow down to? Like he's the most wonderful human being there is. Please. None of the choices were that great. But like I said, at least I can admit that literally any of the people I supported vs Trump has negatives. And let's say something strange happened and Jill Stein won. Damn right I'd hold her accountable if she did something harmful. I don't mindlessly follow people like they're some sort of deity. If she did something or said something that hurt an entire group of people, I wouldn't just say to them, "Oh give her a chance!" No. I'd be like, "What the hell did I vote for?"

But then, I don't understand celebrity worship, either. They're just people.

Anyway, that's my rant about the subject that I've been wanting to get off of my chest somewhere. Sorry, maybe it's not just the fact that it drives me crazy that people are ignoring all of the bad Trump is actually doing... for whatever their reasoning is. Maybe it just drives me crazy to see people who mindlessly follow one source of information/one person/one viewpoint/one whatever. I can't wrap my head around that way of thinking. It's so... I don't have the right word for it. Rigid? How do you learn anything new when you think like that? When you only look at one way of doing things?

Okay. THAT'S my rant.

Now I'm going back to basically pretending none of this exists for the sake of my sanity. I haven't been able to figure out a way to make myself useful and contribute to the fight against what he's doing... so since I can't help, it's best for me if I think about other things.

I feel really bad for the trans and non-binary kids in conservative states and school districts. I don't think being stealth is even an option in school even for those that pass, people know. It's really a much different situation than adult life.

This isn't a shock to me, though it might be for some of these kids that haven't lived through this political system for decades, and were getting used to the idea of a federal government that was behind them.

A very interesting and eye opening article. I commend this women for trying to stick it out in the NSC after the turnover at the White House, but it once again confirms what a lot of people have been saying
