High def view of the earth from the International Space Station
I watch this on one of two monitors that I have, if it's idle.
It's awesome on a larger monitor, but just awesome anyways.
The screen goes black when they are on the night side of the earth, it takes about 45 minutes for each side.
Just below the view is the ISS tracker that lets you know where it is in relationship to night and day.
Right now it's using the rear view camera, and you can see a small solar array (I think) and a Russian cargo ship is also docked.
There is a front view camera, as well as one that faces down, but is tilted to the north somewhat.
The sunrises and sunsets are pretty fun to watch and are a treat when they have the right camera pointed at the horizon.
Watch for the coast of whatever to show up, if the clouds are gone, it's usually pretty sharp, also fun to see.
It runs silent, so put on your favorite tunes and watch the world go by from 250 miles up...
