Hello all!
Some of you who are British may already know about a recent report that concluded the NHS is failing trans* patients in the UK. With long waiting times, untrained doctors and outdated and misleading equality laws, I believe it’s time for change.
A young transgender woman and activist called Charlie Craggs has started a petition to end this Transphobia and it's nearly reached 35,000 signatures.
I personally would LOVE to see it reach its next milestone (only 876 more signatures needed) and wanted to share it with you guys.
I don't identity as transgender myself but it's something I feel really strongly about. If you'd like to read an article about it here: wearetheq.wordpress.com/2016/04/28/the-silent-t/ and sign the petition that would be AMAZING!!!
UK based readers can sign the petition but even if you're not from the UK, reading about it, spreading the word and sharing stories is super important too.
