Hi everyone,
I'm Jamie number 2 being that number one got here first. I am a 52-year-old transgender woman that identifies as non-binary feminine. I live in Portland, OR. I'm retired from the U.S. Army.
I've chosen a non-binary identity because it feels really right for me after living as a trans woman for the past three years. I am totally uncomfortable identifying as a binary trans female, because it leaves me in constant collision with my male biology.
I take HRT but refuse to get any surgeries or modify my body beyond earrings.
I look forward to getting to know of all you, hearing your stories, and exploring gender with you.
Just call me Jamie2 please.

I'm already a fan. Gotta' luv the name Jamie because it can go either or both or sideways or just a pretty good name for a NB or transwoman or even transman. Evn ciswomen and cismen. Welcome. Your story sort of mirrors mine believe it or not with being in the army and all. I'm just younger HA HA. Only by 4 years though. I guess at our ages though every year counts. I don't take HRT because nature took care of that for me somewhat. The beard sux though. I am actually coming down from the male shit right now. Even tried growing a goatee and it bugged the holy shit out of me. It itched and no matter how clean I kept it, it always had that Halloween mask hair scent to it. I used shampoo and not the cheap stuff and even used conditioner too. 2 months was all it lasted after over a year as female in the way of grooming habits and so on. For me it used to be half and half but now 2 months out of twelve and 1 month of that a roller coaster ride of who I really am. That sux. Seriously though Jamie, welcome. Feel at home and enjoy your times here. I guess you could say I too am non binary but damn it seems like I am becoming more binary female as time goes by. Hi from Jamie. Hell I have never been number one before unless someone told me with their middle finger. that means number one right?

Hi Jamie!
Interesting to hear you speak of our name because when I transitioned I purposely chose Jamie because it embraced both sides of me. But I never told anyone in my family that. I also purposely didn't choose any middle name, so Jamie stands by itself.

I managed to pick up the web property non-binary.org recently. I know there's another domain called nonbinary.org, but I couldn't resist grabbing the one that actually had the correct spelling for non-binary. I don't have the cash right now for the web hosting etc. etc., but maybe soon. Any ideas on how I should develop that web property? What would be it's best use? Please don't consider me doing so as competition to anyone else, because I think it's important for these type web properties to be in the hands of those that actually should have them, rather than getting exploited as porn sites or ransomed in domain auctions etc.

We have the forum support here.
But many are in rough shape.
Be one heck of a not for profit for teens made homeless, if you could figure out funding.
Brazen for me to say, i couldnt do it.

I also purposely didn't choose any middle name, so Jamie stands by itself. Well fortunately for me that is my legal name on my BC. My mom really wanted a girl when she was pregnant with me. I guess she got one. She just didn't realize it before she died though. But maybe so because she sure treated me... "special" as a child? I think it messes people up sometimes though especially with the long hair, bangs and wearing shorts that don't go past your knees.

welcome, jamie!
interesting about the domain. you could just put links to all kinds of helpful or informative sites until you find a project you want to work on...?
