I thought these were interesting comments and insights by CIS women made to trans and non binaries.
Even how you look and act and the way you talk, I would have never thought initially that you were MtF trans. I don’t understand why trans people worry so much about what other people think of them. Im a cis woman I don’t feel like I need to wear a certain amount of makeup or certain clothing for other people not to judge me and my gender so I don’t think anyone else should either. Just because you’re wanting to be more feminine doesn’t mean you need to look like a damn drag queen. People who get upset at you for not being more flashy are just rude as fuck. Be you!

I think it's funny that people get so hung up on being "passable." I was born female and totally have very strong and more "masculine" features. In my late teens to early 20's I smoked a lot of weed and had a deepish and pretty husky voice. What I'm trying to say is, I'm not even "passable," it's all in your head, for fuck sake... Worry about you and make yourself happy, everyone has days when they question who they are or where they're at in life, and if another person is making you feel ugly or unworthy it has more to do with them than it has to do with you. Just do what I do when someone gives me a backhanded compliment or tells me some ignorant ass shit, tell them "you're welcome!" And carry on!

I know this sounds judgy but I have to say it. I feel really uncomfortable with some people being so shallow and all about looks. I had a lot of things pushed on me for being born a female. I have come to the conclusion that fashion could be fun but I put it into perspective. There is a lot of things going on in the world, I don't care. Wear any clothing or hairstyle you want no matter what you were born. Have any personality you want and do any activities you want. It is one thing to have a subjective feeling that you were born into the wrong body and are really a man or a woman. It is another thing to mistake stereotypes that society set up for men and women as being a man or a woman. It is just clothing, hairstyles, make up , personalities, and activities. Often times transgender people reestablish those stereotypes. Don't tell me I have to be anything as a woman. I can be who I want to be. So I support in general if you are transgender, but the details of this stuff is really shallow a lot of the time.

Another good message or life lesson is "Never compare your life to someone else's". Regardless of your sexuality or anything, we are all unique and all have our own paths in life, and sometimes it seems like others are "doing better" than us, but actually everyone goes down their paths in life at a certain pace and through certain routes. We all have different strengths, weaknesses, and different capacities so comparing your life to others is completely pointless no matter what.
