Thanks, I need to keep going. I have a goal in mind and I need to lose the weight to achieve it.

I go up one size to a 9 1/2 for my heels and boots I do pretty much the same, sometimes I wear 9 1/2 mens, sometimes 10, it depends. But size 11 works pretty good, but I have turned down a few pair because of the fit.

But size 11 works pretty good, but I have turned down a few pair because of the fit. So considering I know how my feet are (Mens 12W are usually a "perfect fit after a little wear in) I should probably look in the 15 range. I guess it's going to be trial and error so I should start off with some cheap flats / sandals. Thanks all, all good info. Please keep it coming. I am starting to look at skirts / blouses. A little nervous about that but I think once I am on HRT the thought won't be as nerve wracking as it seems now. I am not embarrassed by it but it's more in line with, does this even look right. I used to think that about what I am currently wearing, but recently I have realized how comfortable (both physically comfortable and mentally comfortable) I feel when wearing just what I feel like wearing and not worrying about how it looks to others. I used to feel physically uncomfortable wearing Polo's and slacks. It was a definite sick feeling. But now I am at the point wear once I am dressed, I don't even think about it anymore. That to me tells me I am comfortable in what I am wearing. Jeez, I am so excited. Not only because things are finally moving. But the shear fact that I found a therapist that was genuinely interested in what I needed in terms of help. First question was preferred name and pronoun and from there on out it was all she / Jenn. I know that's how it's supposed to be but the fact that it was asked and then used without any hesitation was wonderful. The therapist I had in NYC was just as nice. It sucked that the physical attacks and assaults made me so wary to go into the city ever again. Life down here has been so much different. I have gotten to know the clerks at the corner store. Every customer that comes in whether they know me or not are all so pleasant and it doesn't even phase them when I am standing there with a tank and bra slightly visible, nails done to the nines and leggings on. They all strike up conversations like they knew me all their life. I can honestly say I haven't had one bad interaction with anyone down here. Unlike in NJ when I had at least 1 bad interaction per day. Maybe it's just concentration or maybe down here they just don't give a damn and look past looks and are more interested in how genuine you are. Oh well enough rambling Thanks again all. Love you guys with all my heart ! :hugs: -- Jenn

Look in the 13 to maybe 14 range, I think you typo'd, but 12 mens is going to likely be 13, maybe 14 in womens. Size seems to be a estimate for clothing, even from the same brand, it's all over the place. Getting the right fit is more important as well, guys can be a little sloppy, but womens needs to fit better. What looks nice on the models is a long ways away from the real world a lot of times, but you'll develop a sense of what is going to be right for you.

Which usually leads to a 13 in some brands. I have a high arch and sometimes swell due to my arthritis and cellulitis. Like I said, it's going to be trial and error so I will start cheap Thanks Ativan. I love all the feedback.

So I have been research on different clothing and wig options in preparation for the next year of transformation (trying to keep positive in light of recent events). I love longish hair and looking for something that fits who I see I am. I have always loved dark long slightly wavy hair. And I always pair the name Jennifer with something like this: 70cm long Natural black fashion Small wave women wig XFS46BTrying to find it in an auburn, dark brown, very dark red ( not bright but more towards the brown shade ). I don't like the shorter version but that version may be a bit long at first. If I understand correctly they can be trimmed. And since the price is cheap I can try out a bunch of styles. And when I settle on one I will invest in a more natural version. Also goes well with the fact that I am bald. Always shave it baby smooth lol

That is pretty cool. I might even wear something like that, but I need top surgery first before I'd feel comfortable! There's no way I'd fit my chest into that thing right now, anyway. LOL

Always shave it baby smooth lol The nice thing about wigs is that you can play around a lot with length and color without a time investment. My hair is even thinner than it would be naturally because I way dyed it too much in the last year or so. Realistically, I'll have to wear a wig or a partial hairpiece in the future. It's better to shave it totally bald if wearing a wig. Trying to have it match some unnatural color that results from dying hair that is also graying is quite difficult.
