I've never really worried or paid attention to it. I guess I just don't really care either way. I always kinda figured, if stuff like that is what gets me outed, things must be going pretty damn good, lol.
I just wanna be me. I'm gonna do what comes natural to me. I don't wanna have to put on an act and feel fake or feel like an actor/actress. I've seen or heard of some that take it to such extremes, dancing around, looking like a clown when talking for example, and I really kinda can't help but roll my eyes at it. Hey, if that's what you wanna do, or if that's what you trained yourself to do, or if that is what comes naturally to you, good for you, more power to you, but it's not me, never will be me.
I have changed a few things tho; I've worked on my voice, it still sucks and fails but is a bit different, I'm a bit more touchy feely with people, I sit different a lot of times, but not always, and I try to walk a bit more fem, and I think that's all.

The bar was always a pick up joint for me. Its not a pretty story. But gay, not straight. Straight I'd hit the foosball table and the pool tables till closing. Play for beers. Straight disco's some girl would come on to me and Id drink until I woke up in the broom closet. Not kidding that's where they would drag me when I passed out. Poor kid, the broom closet routine isn't fun ever! My younger brother was like that too, RIP little brother!

Once the physical addiction takes over, you have no idea how hard it is to get off it. Broom closets weren't too bad. There are worse places to wake up. And I am so sorry about your little brother dear one, really, so sorry.

On the street tonight i realized i dont have to fake a darn thing and i still read girl.
Lol.
What a waste of energy worrying about it.
It is different in nb mode but doesnt matter much around here.
I could so easily be she.
But its more fun being me...

in my childhood i'd get lessons on moving more femininely. i hated it as much as arya did.
i might actually have been able to accept living with a female body if it weren't for all those ridiculous expectations. instead i learned that being born female was definitely a curse of some sort.
this past week, i learned about some interesting inuit traditions. like how they used to see gender as a rather unimportant physical side of life. names aren't gendered in many of their cultures, it was common to inherit names from an elder who recently passed away, regardless of gender. that's their way of keeping the soul alive within the community, though the new child would also have their own spirit along with the old soul.
it seems really nice that a girl could grow up being loved as much as someone's grandfather or uncle, who was her namesake.
unfortunately, western culture has ruined a lot now. like how saami women who grow up today unconsciously learn to move more femininely, instead of walking how their grandmothers always walked, in a way that fits with nature rather than cities.

I recall attending ballet recitals for my sis when she was real little, she is 18 years my junior. Mom wanted her to become feminine and graceful, poor child! We come from about the same stock as Taka from my dad's side, my sis is taller than me and walks and moves more like a man to this day. She was raised in a mountain town, rode horses through the woods with her girlfriends, she still laughingly calls herself, "A tough mountain woman!"

Hey, I think I've felt somewhat similarly about trying to cover up more feminine aspects of myself in the past. I always felt pressure to be more masculine, at school and at home, not an extreme pressure but my dad or someone at school would usually express frustration when I would do something in a feminine way so I've always tried to be more and more masculine and I've gotten pretty good at it. however, I could never keep it up for long and as I've come to realise I'm trans I've been slightly annoyed that maybe if I'd not been made to be more masculine I'd have figured this all out sooner but at the same time I realise they were just trying to help "toughen me up" and prepare me for certain parts of the outside world. Hopefully someday people wont care if young guys act in certain ways (in my case); hopefully we'll get there.

My dad was a seaman, always gone off on a voyage so I was raised by my mother who was very sweet, she coddled me a lot and turned me into little Lord Fauntleroy. I had a little coat and hat from a place called The Fairy Frock Shoppe, no wonder my dad was concerned! I recall how when my dad was home that he said that he was afraid that I might turn out to be a sissy. I did all I could to offset his fears and be a real rough and tumble boy. My years of history as a man are legend around here and among those who know me personally. I can recall though, way back then that I really just wanted to be me and not have to please others.

ah yeah, I've done some similar things in the past. Sometimes when I've been playing a video game and my mum has commented "if you keep playing as girls we'll start to worry about you"; although she's very supportive so I know at the time she didn't mean to offend me but I've always tried to convince my parents that I was just an ordinary straight cis guy. I am always envious of people who can go against convention and be whoever they want without fear of sticking out.
